People who do nothing but run around with the GP-30 or M203. I've been seeing this happen quite a bit lately and Ive wondered, maybe they are getting as much n00b-tube kills as they can before EA/DICE totally smashes their dreams with cheapshot kills.
Oh yeah, fellow teammates who fail to watch out for friendly mines. I think its rediculous that mines TK. Yeah its more realistic but it needs to be the other way so they can properly be used because morons fail to see the crossbones.
and last but not least, getting punished for a TK that resulted from a BSTK aka bullsh*tTK. People walking too close beside ya while you are driving an APC, mines, etc....
I have to say theres not a great deal that irritates me beyond "minor". HOwever last night, after playing a wake only as Chinese for a few rounds with a dipsh!t commander who decided commanding from a suicide vehicle would be fun. I believe his name was Bironator. Anyways i went commander, went and hid down next to the water behind the UAV, to command, and the bastard came and hunted me down to knife me! and again. and again. I punished each time of course, and gave him an earful about being so selfish as to deprive the team of assets for those 20 second blocks, and eventually he actually got banned.
yeah,
People that sulk when you're made commander coz you have a higher rate than them, and then start bl**dy kick polls every 2 minutes while spamming you with requests for UAV etc when they are alone and away from the fight.
Jets....how many times can I say Jets. I can't stand the football team and I can't stand them in BF2 either... :)
They would be ok if they could not reload in seconds and by the time I respawn, they are bombing me again.
PS - I wonder if the pilots have any fps skills?
As for bunny hopping, I will jump one or two times to make myself a harder target to hit. I am not one to just keep jumping up and down or do that dolphin diving crap. I don't find bunny hopping to be much of a problem as I can do the same to frag them. It is fps old school gaming skill which should be limited in BF2...and I think the new patch will do so - can't shoot while in the air. Still, hopping is nothing compared to J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets. They suck.
Patches.
Why not more patches like 1 every week or so with what ea has been working on during that week. Right now we have been waiting for months for some fixes but since ea like everything in one patch there is probably some little feature thats holding the patch up.
They seem to have some wierd kinda perfectionistic approach to patches that i dont think work. They should release a patch as soon as they have fixed a bug or addded a feature (like it is in many mmorpg). Then they can keep the good changes and "god forbid" if they introduce a bad feature or a bug just revert to the old patch.
I´ve heard that the reason they got so long delay time betwen patches is liability issues and that the patch has to go through alot of testing before they can release it since they doesnt want to get sued if they introduce a bug but they should write a clausule in the EULA (something for BF3) so that they can make changes on a daily basis without risking getting sued.
I bet when the bad things in 1.2 (trust me something is always bad) get out it will take another 3 months for ea to release a fix since they seem to want the patches as few and big as possible.
ps, if they think that the people dont like to download patches that often they should use a autodownloader when starting the game.
THE SERVERS!!!!!!!!!!!
EA is bieng really p-issy about the knife/pistol servers. Whats the problem with them, huh? Its almost imposssible to get the knife badge on a normal server (wether it be basic, expert, or intermeddiate) cuz who u thinks gonna win a guy with a full auto rifle or a guy that has to avoid fire while sprinting and get close enough to hit him with the knife?
LOADING TIMES!!!! GRRRRRRRRR!!! Everyone knows what im talking about. :wall: Verifying client data.:censored: :censored: :cussing: :cussing:
Or when I'm on the edge of the map and virtually nowhere near a flag and get hit by artillery by the enemy commander, when all by myself.
You will probably find thats because he has done a scan and thinks you are the other commander.
I've done that before to take the enemy commander out of it for a bit and make him think about moving.
What annoys me the most is when a commander (enemy or team) places an artillery strike on top of me when I'm all by myself.
HOLY :censored: !!! That happened to me a few weeks ago when I was playing on Zatar Wetlands. I was the Squad Leader all by myself heading over to the Farm while playing as USMC. The commander told me to go the Hill when half my damn team was there assaulting. I was going after the Farm. I disobey his order so he sets an arty strike a little ways ahead of me!!!!! What the :cussing: ?!?!?!
I immediately hit the Voice key and told him that if he pulled that kind of bull:censored: again that I would let the server admins know and he would be banned from the server. After that, not a single problem with him. Still though, the principle of it, waste an arty strike on me simply because I ignored his command?!
Some people eh....?

Try playing as Spec-Ops more. I've heard that they do not show up on the UAV and SCANS. Can anyone else confirm this? I have yet to see it in-game...
