correct me if i'm wrong but i read it somewhere in these forums...

i've heard that when the developers made the game, for balance issues they made the blackhawk with the purpose of mowin down infantry and stuff. and the other two PLA & the twinki(w/e u call it)'s guns were made to counter light vehilcles, and also could penetrate inside of a tank/apc/car/ w/e. guess it didn't work out so well did it...

i've had this happen to me too, but yes, it's EXTREMELY rare.. something like once every 250 hours or something. I'd rather give let the million monkeys typing shakespeare take care of reproduction of that bug, than do it myself :P .. I can always guess though.

If player model actually sits inside the vehicle, maybe this is related with grenades/rockets going through tanks occasionally. It starts going through, and then connects, exploding inside and actually hurting a player ? Just a guess.

Or maybe there is very tiny crack somewhere in mesh, that lets a bullet go through to you.

Or maybe it is completely unrelated, you died because of some bug/slay (I dunno if admin / some admin mod can be used to slay) and that kill got just given to random player, or guy who last hurt you

It has happened to me too. I think it was a helicoptor or some kind of explosion each time. I have about 50 hours in armour and it has only happen a couple of times. It is probably related to the fact that you can get thrown through objects if you have a high enough velocity. I have had that happen a couple of times when I was hit arty.

It happened a few times to me, getting shot out and then tank looks undamaged, but the tank always explodes a few seconds later.
I think it's just a bug that makes it look like the tank is undamaged.
