I got my Vet on Oilfields. Cos theres 4 arty guns all very close together. I had no friend on the other side (a suspect setup if you ask me). But I did turn a blind eye when I saw yet another spec ops running towards my guns. Suddenly a patch of grass took my attention long enough for them to blow em all up again.
Get Expert on the other hand is near impossible.

It's possible but it does requires such a statistical fluke of just the right circumstances, that it does become near impossible. The expert explosives to me was near impossible too, as well as expert heal badge, still working on those, I imagine it's the same thing, they require a statistical fluke of circumstances to happen.

I got my vet before people earned points for doing it. So I was playing with some classy guys.

I was soo close to getting my exp explosives today. Must of only been a kill or 2 out. They tried to kick vote me and the round after I was called a cheater. LOL
But its hard to keep count. Having to take into consideration that if they get killed by the APC blowing up, then it wont class as a C4 kill.

LMFAO..Turned a blind eye thats funny. The explosive badge is no where near impossible its very doable. I went commander and got in easly. You can also get a friend to help you by being your medic or support guy cause you need lots of ammo and you die a lot..well I did..Good luck.

Side Note: Do you think its padding to have a friend on the other side blowing up the commaders toys? Not that you are telling him which ones when just the fact that he is just constantly doing it with no regard for where you are. Padding or not?

Veteran i got acciddently, expert is a no hoper
I got in a BH on a fairly empty Daqing64 late in a round playing engineer. The assets were dead, i noticed whilst taking off so they were all repaired, then a tank was critical infront of the first oil tank by which time the assets were all dead again. I did get a kill by crashing into the said spec op but the rest of me points were repair and the badge by chance. Armour can be tempted back to a safer repair and the mobility of the BH did let me help, as i said it was an almost empty server so i wasnt taking a copter from anyone. Pure luck to be in the right place at the right time and very rewarding to get a reward for trying to help my team.
Arranging repairs in anyway really isnt right, you can get this badge legit just means you cant be playing for easy points at the time.

Surge, Spetz. take both tanks from spetz base to the west one, then grab that tank, move NE to the bridge and sit there. in a triangle cluster you will be invincible (in particular if theres 2 engy and 1 support)

Its a great way to pad, and is how i got both expert resupply and my vet repair.

Got mine on Daging Oilfields, they kept sending Sf dudes over and kept bombing our arty. I started late in round and ended up with like 20 repairs.

These stat padding suggestions are ****ing pathetic. What's the point of having an award that you didn't earn? No one looks at your stats and if they do they don't really care. It should be for self gratification and remind you of that one crazy ass time that you actually earned that many repair points.

I'm starting to hate the awards system..
