You'll need a tad of luck... you need a server with an aggressive Spec Opps on the side that will destroy your assets a few time.

I having trouble too, I think Wake island might present the best opportunity - 3 arty pieces and 3 tanks to repair.

Pick a map like Wake (when playing China) where the assets are easy targets.

Still working on my 100 hrs. But i guess 25 repairs in a round will be close to impossible. I always play together with a friend, both engineer and it is still hard to get a lot of repair points.

Maybe playing together on an urban map will do the trick.

STA PAD... no well have a freind go on oppisite team with around same name and let him blow up ur assets and u repair them or have him create a fake account and be on same team and have him blow ur assets. Its somthing ull get yelled at for but u get the badge if thats wat u want.

join a tank squad, ride as the gunner in a tank as an engineer, fix often, fix early, use the VOIP.
Or ride in an APC and follow the tank, repairing it constantly.
Or race around the map in a buggy, giving tanks and APCs a quick fix.
On 64 player maps it's a piece of cake, you're helping your team out and you don't have to stat pad for it.
Got mine on FuShe64 that way.

Like Claydough said have a friend on the other team. This is not stat Padding just make sure he will be an over aggresive spec ops. It would be stat padding if you sat right next to each other..Blow up, Repair but keep in mind you guys are enemies and fight like you are ad then its not padding.

As long as he is constantly blowing up the stuff you are getting repairs and also drive around and repair your teamates. I would suggets riding around in a buggy (for speed). Let your commander know not to drop supplies cause you will handle the repairs and BAM! its yours. You really do not need the friend on the other team but then you gotta get lucky. To get the expert YOU HAVE TO HAVE A FRIEND ON THE OTHER TEAM GOIN NUTS WITH THE C4! Not that I have it but thats what I will do when I want it. ABout 20 more hours to go then I will be trying to get it!

O.K. forgive me i seem to have been half asleep. I thought you meant te expert instead of the veteran. Veteran is actually quite easy if you work with a buddy. Got mine on Dragon. Just team up with another engi and find an enemy flag, only don't try to cap the flag and stay right outside the base. Enemy AT will try to finish you off but will have a hard time doing that since you're repairing each other constantly. 10 repairs in no time. Good luck.

Oh man, Veteran Engineer, didn't think I was ever going to get it but just managed to get it last night and saw this thread. Myself and a friend played on Dragon Valley 32 player server last night which lasted 45 minutes. We both kept in Tanks and APCs and were both engineer, we both got heavily damaged several times but sticking close together meant we were practically constantly hearing the then sweet sound of the repair wrench in action and eventually the repair points started oh ssssssooooo slowly adding up. To my memory I spent most of that round hearing the repair sound and managed to get the veteran repair badge but at the end of the round I had only got 11 repairs in total.

I imagine if a bigger armoured squad of 3 or 4 is involved it would probably be a lot easier or at least quicker to get the badge. 25 points will certainly be a challenge.

Good luck, hope you get it soon.

I just got in a friendly tank and repaired it whenever possible. I rode off in a jeep to repair our artillery at the end of the game to get the last 2 points. I think expert is impossible without stats padding. When i have my 100hours as engineer and ready to go for expert, im gonna spawn as spec-ops destroy my own assets, suicide then respawn as engeneer for some free repair points over and over till i get the badge.

I got mine by playing on Warlord, at the palace one flag was insurgent and the other in the palace was SAS. They kept blowing up the commander assets over and over again, I kept getting into the APC that spawns there and kept repairing. It was a 64 player server but it was late at night and only 20 people were playing. Took almost the whole round but that's how I got Expert Repair.

I got my Vet on Oilfields. Cos theres 4 arty guns all very close together. I had no friend on the other side (a suspect setup if you ask me). But I did turn a blind eye when I saw yet another spec ops running towards my guns. Suddenly a patch of grass took my attention long enough for them to blow em all up again.
Get Expert on the other hand is near impossible.
