Open ports on your router with our port forwarding guides. We have guides specific to your router.

Simply browse for your router model, then browse for Battlefield 2. It'll tell you STEP BY STEP how to configure your router

Ok, then put your BF2 server's LAN IP in the DMZ.

                    That should work.

Otherwise, just click on a random Dlink or Linksys router and then browse for Battlefield 2 and it'll show you how to set up ports for BF2. I'm sure you can browse through your router's config screen to make things match up.

DMZ m8? where abouts and how?lol

yeh i tried that but the prob is i dont have enough port spaces e.t.c available

hmm iv found the DMZ thing but i cant edit it, wont let me click anything

hmm another question to go with the others....

my ips end in [1] router - 192.168.1.1
my bros pc ip ends in [2] - 192.168.1.2
                      mine ends in [3] - 192.168.1.3

what do i use in my router screen? do i use my comps ip or the router?

It's easier than trying to explain things down to the level needed here.

Step by step instructions for forwarding are provided on that site...there is nothing more I could possibly add.

                            If that cannot be done...DMZ.

You can always take a PC out of the DMZ when the server isn't running...2 clicks.

I understand. Its just that ever since i took my Security+ class and actually started logging infiiltration attemps to my network, it was obvious how dangerous a DMZ'd PC could be.

Granted most attacks to a random user is just gonna be harmless pings and stuff....but you never know i guess.
