....so my question is...does 5 road kills mean just 5 normal kills in a vodnik or jeep (or boat) i.e. with the turret gun, OR do i actually have to run 5 people over in one round???!!!

road kills means you have to run them over.

No, you can shoot them too.

You might have to get a few minutes over 50 though...I tried a few times before I got it, and when I did it was all shooting.

road kills are anything that you dont do with the guns, like in jets, when you crash into someone, its a road kill, so if you explode a vehicle near the enemy and it kills them, its a road kill, sometimes these awards can be confusing :)

well actually i just thought - when u kill someone with the gun on your vodnik it says "bingobones**OF** [Vodnik] badperson",

when u run someone over it would say the same thing - so i think u maybe right Abtomat.

To get road kills you have to actually run over them. Not shoot them. If you could just kill them with your gun why add the "road" part.

But how did you get the 50 hrs. Were you applying for the driving miss daisy award.

lol i suppose after 430 hours 50 hours isnt that much??!! i use jeeps to travel in between flags in karkand and sharqi, to kill inf, and choppers etc etc

road kill normaly are roadkills, meaning you run them over, but it could be it isn't coded very well (who DICE ? hmmm, actualy big chance it isn's coded very well) so you get the badge with the machine gun to .

One remark : if you have 49h 59min in the transport, you join a round, you won't get the badge, you must have 50h or more before you join the round .

HMMMMM, MEC, Karkand, Vodnik, Firts Flag, USA spawnpiont, MIEP MIEP, zoem! and Veteran badge is there.

O and the 50 hours have to be updated, cuz when i already had 50 and a couple of minutes, but it wasnt updated and i started a round, i did get the 22 kills for Engineer, but not the badge, and when it was updated, i couldnt get the kills offcourse(BF2 logics)

If you kill someone with the physical vehicle or the explosion from a vehicle you get a road kill, at least that is how I have heard it.

You can use the gun to shoot other vehicles and then stop firing when it is on fire. This way the explosion of the vehicle kills them and you get a road kill. Anti tank or assault GL can get you road kills against other Vods and Humv's too since they only catch on fire when hit and don't blow up all the time.

Of course I could be dead wrong in the way road kills work, but it is the only explanation that I have heard that makes sense. Just take a look at your ground defense stats and you will see road kills, so it can't be just running people over, and it isn't just killing someone with the TOW or your total TOW kills would match your road kills.

Road kills are so much fun. Cant wait when I get the time regs for expert. I really enjoyed get the Vet badge

I got mine running people over. With a buggy. On Wake Island.

As someone with 893 road kills in the transport vehicles, I can testify to the fun and ease with which you can smear people all over the road.
