I do not really care if they toss it or keep it but lets keep in mind that this is suppose to follow real life battles and in real life you have some intel before you attack an area but then I guess in real life you would not know where every person is. I think the solution of the new patch will please most, you will know if you are being spotted by UAV and you will be able to shoot it down.

I from my experience of the battlefield series since the demo for 1942 see no problem with the UAV. I think it adds a fun factor and it lets the commander see where he should arty without firing blind.

In reality, the UAV is very, very, very, unrealistic.

LOL you're kidding right?? You do know that the U.S. army uses UAVs that fly around and scan for enemies. The UAV is very real, and very realistic.

The UAV also has a offensive type calle dthe predator armed with hellfire missiles...I waint that one in the next patch lol.

Yea I was reading about that one. Too bad it would be rejected as soon as it is used in BF2

Yea all the bitching nad whining causes way to many nerfs in the game. Other than the AA I have not had a problem with anything else and I play pubs all the time.

another example why teamwork and balance doesn't work in FPS game.

Before this is released, people loved the tactical potential artillery and UAV would bring, and now people are yelling to take them out.

Why? You have infomation, you own.

Additionally, guns are meant to compliment each other (AK47 + Type 88 vs. M16 semi + SAW), however people complain about gun's accuracy.

Imagine if Starcraft, one of the best balanced game that requires multi-units teamwork, is a FPS.

Marine: OMG ZEALOT HAXXOR! 4 times my health and 3 times my damage, NERF!

Zealot: OMG marine can use medic, HAXXXOR!

Terran: OMG dark templar is cloaked, freaking invisiblity haxx!

Dark templar: sat scan = unbalanced = no fun

all races: OMG carrier = planewhorez, tune down the number of interceptor from 8 to 2 PLZ!

The guns in BF2 are NOT even CLOSE to being balanced in accuracy. I've shot a medic in the head(with no damage because the bullet magically missed) and he pulls out his G3CE(something like that) fires 3 shots and I'm dead.

If I have a sniper rifle at 400 yards agianst an assault rifle, I should win. There is no way a medic should be able to kill a sniper at 400 yards. Hell, A medic shouldn't be able to kill a sniper at 200 yards when the sniper has the first shot.

Also, It would be nice if DICE told us have the crosshairs on a sniper work. One would think you put a body part where the cross is, but I've learned thats not the case for some sniper rifles. I've increased my accuracy by 100% using my new technique.

personally, I would always win with a sniper rifle at those situations you described above, maybe you should check your own sniping skill?

putting your crosshair on their helmet works well because of the 0.01 deviation (there shouldn't be deviation at all with sniper rifles.

Don't lie to make yourself sound right. You are the first person I have heard of that never had that problem. Either you are extremly lucky, or you are lying because I am challanging you.

I play sniper everytime, all the time. I am sure I am a better sniper than you. I've taken out 2 choppers in a 3 minute span. Flying choppers, not grounded.

Next it will be the noobtube and C4 chucking and base raping and camping and tank whoring and air vehicles and assault rifles and knives and pistols and grenades and claymores and shock paddles and mounted gun emplacements and artillery and high altitudes and supply crates and punish zones and other players, until finally DICE agrees to take battlefield 2 out of battlefield 2 to increase the "game balance" and "gameplay value" and all that's left is an empty application window that oddly resembles a plain white slate.
Oh wait, it exists already, it's called notepad.exe and included with every windows version since 95.

So very true. Some just need an easy way out, or just to bitch a bit.

then why do you have problems with medic peashooter at 200 yards? were you exaggerating a little bit? I wouldn't have problem AT THAT RANGE.

I am fine with challenge, though I am not a particular good sniper. I prefer PKM. Maybe I shall challenge your sniper rifle with my PKM.

I didnt know that you were the spokes person for this forum. If this post was so lame then why did you take take time to vote and post? lol. You think that the UAV has saved you many times. How many times have you been killed because "YOU" were on the "enemies" UAV.
