In reality, the UAV is very, very, very, unrealistic.

UAV's are VERY VERY real indeed my freind. The military has been using them for years now. They are Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Low Flying Propeller drive Vehilces that have camera's, radar, and other technologies abord.

They were used heavily in Afganistan to find enemy's in the desert. UAV's can fly for long periods of time.

In reality, the UAV is very, very, very, unrealistic.

The whole game is unrealistic, thats what makes it fun, the closest game to realism in FPS is Americas Army, I used to play it heaps but when you die in the first minute by a spawn shot 203 and have to wait 8 minutes to play again it can get a bit disenfranchising, whereas BF2 is more arcade realism and funner.

These types of arguments don't make any sense to me. You have just as much of an opportunity to use it as anyone else.

Most people complaining about an aspect of the game do so because they have no other way of dealing with it.

Things like AA not working on the other hand have good arguments. Sometimes it's not possible or feasible to use another plane/heli to take an enemy out. Maybe your air base has been captured and they have 3 planes raping everything. That's when not having remotely useful AA sucks.

According to your logic we should still be playing pong since there was nothing wrong with the game. Why change it? Saying that it's no fun having the enemies show up for you... then duh go somewhere there isn't UAV.



e/ oh and one other thing. This physical UAV plane idea is really annoying. Not only can you blow up the UAV trailer now, you can destory the UAV itself. How useless is it going to be. You might as well have the comm spamm the voice messages with "enemy units spotted!"

That is the stupids statement I've in a long time. Consider it an improvement. It has saved me many of times. It also adds tactic, because you can blow it up. So just blow yours up, recieve your TK pts and have a nice day, but do not waste our time with such foolishness.

By the way .If is was so foolish then why did yoiu waste your time replying and voting. LOL. So far every reply in favor of the UAV is a one sided view on how its tactical and has "saved me many times. Guess u never figured out how many times the enemy has killed you because "you" were on "their UAV".

in Real life the UAV spots enemies and relay their position to command. In reality UAVs are equipped with multi-specturm camara so they can even see "gasp" snipers.

lets all meet in the middle of the battlefield and play scissor rock paper ... if you win you get a point ....

both teams have the same thing (UAV , SCANNER , ARTY , SUPPLY) so both have same advantage/disadvantage. and imo scanner is far less realistic then UAV lol.

It is realistic, the military uses it to spot enemy forces. So go tell the ground comanders deployed in overseas and tell them to get rid of it, becasue you think it is a waste of time, and then see how they answer you. Probally not as nice as me, since we are talking about soldiers lives here.
