Sniper style of playing!

Hi guys i know that there lots of topics about sniping but never see this one!
There are different style of playing being sniper but i will divide the poll to three!
Sitting duck: sitting on roofs, cranes, always places on high from where can notice and been noticed easilly.
Sneaky Fox : near the ground, in bushes more assault type close to the combat!

im more of the sneaky fo i guess. im at places you wouldnt expect me to be (and i wont tell you :p )

I picked other because im not going to disclose where I snipe from.

I tend to do a bit of both though, it depends on the map and how smart the people are that are playing.

It entirely depends on the situation, because enemy behaviour often fluctuates a lot during the same round.

I am talking in general guys! Of course that during the game things are changing and we have to ajust to them, but in general when you play sharqi for example and the rounds start and you are US with sniper rifle where did you go first at the crane or in the bushes!

if ur camping move ur spot after u kill one person... everyone likes a sniper vendetta... but if theres a good chance to kill more than one person then take but make sure u run the hell away afterwards...i always rotate my camping tent... when i can be bothered to actually play sniper hehe

i rather kil 10 from same spot and die then moving after every kill and getting killed on the run ...

Actually.... Sometimes the cranes are good...

Any experienced player knows is stupid to hide there, because thats where everybody looks first....

So when fighting experienced players.. it can be good to hide there, its soetimes the last place they look...

Just dont expect to get away with more than a few kills before moving along

If a player doesn't react properly to a situation where they can get killed than they most likely will be killed and if a sniper is constantly being killed and not doing much in terms of killing than the sniper is just plain ineffective and being effective is what it's all about.

Well i'm more what i like to call an "aggressive sniper", Example: gulf of oman beach run. I just run at a bush, lay down, SAD, and repeat that

Robske this is what i am talking about! different styles of sniping.
Some preffer long rane shots (sitting ducks)
Some preffer to be close to combat aka assault snipers most of them with SVD in hand i preffer it too myself! (sneaky fox)

hmm ive have to say it depends on the sniper weapon i use im not that into sniping i think its one of the worse classes in game for teamwork (and im big on teamwork). For instance if im useing the m24 or m95 ill try and stay way back any closer and a guy with the G36C can kick my arse because of the time it takes to reload. But if i use the chinese sniper rifle (my fav sniper rifle) ill go semi assault and try to support an attacking squad by following them up the rear.

Im not an acommplished sniper ive never realy played the class in nearly 400+ hours i think ive only played 2 hours as sniper. The way i play aboth just seems to be the most natural way to play sniper for me.

Sniper tactics, ok I would probably recommend avoid the obvious. try and remain on the outskirts moving from bush to bush because if you're going to sit there on the roof like the hotel in omen you will received a vicious rocket attack to the face from people like me. Snipers generally standout like a lollipop lady on buildings.

Not really, I was on the roof of the hotel on Karkand for about 20 minutes just getting kill after kill, I died after the commander used artilary on us.

Usually I run with everyone else and snipe like that or if I think a flag will be taken I will camp there. Hate the semi-autos even in close ranges. Also sometimes like to sneek on to carriers and airfields and just camp with the m95 and wait for people to enter helo/planes. Never shoot at the group waiting for the vehicle casue soon they start to look.
