Thanks for the help im waiting on my new computer to arrive on thursday and doing my research Before i get in the game. It has been a long time since ive done a first person and i wana know as much as poss prior to starting.

play the class that is needed,

if you see 10 medics in your team , no need for you to be one aswell lol.

can you switch each game then?
can you switch mid game?

You can switch kit every time you die

You can select kit when you go to server and when you die.
Try them all out to find the one that suits you best..

Just get ready to die - A LOT.

Spawn, die, spawn, die, get revived, die, etc.......

As you learn the maps and the flow, you'll start dying less and killing more :)

Here is my Noobatorial:

1. Play the single player maps to learn the battlefield and practice shooting.
2. Join a 64 player map, to learn what you need to work on.
3. Play all the kits. You will quickly learn which ones you prefer.
4. Have fun, but plan on dieing alot.

i understand the dieing and the learning curve

are the single player maps really worth playinng to prep for online most games ive seen 5 min in single is about all you need to learn

and will items and ranks unlock in single? if they do will they carry over to multi?
