I always shoot them, but I remember a few times on 1942 when I know some poor guy has just swam miles and would probably just make it, but alas he died :cry:

Do it to others before they do it to you.

I love commanding on Wake Island and seeing a guy or a squad swimming across the bay from one side of the island to the other. I spot them and try to get a jet or chopper to take them out. If that doesn't work, I drop artillery on them.......even if it's just one guy. I have to think it would really hack me off if I managed to make it almost all the way across, only to have artillery come raining down when I'm twenty feet from the shore.

So if an enemy loses his kit and never picks up another, he should be able to run around and cap every flag on the map? Should being unable to shoot back make a player invincible until he gets a gun? If so, next time I'm revived with no kit, I'm not going to pick one up. I'll be unstoppable then.

It was their mistake to go into the water when they were likley to get shot, so if someone making a mistake can't justify killing them in a game, what will? Luck? Is any kill you get which isn't luck based cheap?

Killing swimmers isn't like spawn killing. A person has full control over whether they go into the water.

Yes, its their own fault that there in the water and its not like he wouldnt shoot you if the positions where reversed.
