After playing this game a while now I have come to realise that "most" people don't play as a team and for themselves, in other words "point whore".
But I've been thinking about a concept that EA/DICE might have over looked.
They wanted this game to be based on teamwork, that's why they added the Medics, Engies and Support troopers. And with these classes you earn teamwork points....
So why didn't they think "Hmmmm, we have six classes here. Why don't we give them all a chance to earn teamwork points?!?". I mean, they give us the chance to form squads, and the Commander gives them orders, but why not do summit like this....
Squad Alpha has 1 Assault (who is SL), 2 AT, 1 Medic, 1 Support and 1 Spec Ops. Squad Alpha is trying to capture a point that the Commander has given orders to attack.
While capturing this flag, someone with that squad spots armor. So they shout "Enemy Armor Spotted", as they do now but add "Need AT".
Now, the guy who's AT (in the squad or within x metres of the spotted target) has something on his screen saying "Armor spotted in your area. Page Up to accept to engauge or Page Down to decline", basically the same when you are invited into a squad or SL given an order fromt he Commander.
If the AT guy accepts, the SL shouts "AT up!", giving the AT guy an order to attack the Armor.
If the AT guy is successful in destorying the Armor, he receives 2 teamwork points + 1 Kill point = 5 points global. Due to this being successful, the entire squad receives a bonus teamwork point that objective complete.
This, in a sense, will open the game up for more teamwork, ie. AT is critically wounded, Medic revives, giving Medic an objective or AT runs out of ammo, Support resupplies AT etc etc.
The same will go for Infantry, APC and Boat but when it comes to Jets and Helicopters, the Squad Member will have to be in a AA Vehicle/Turret to accept.
A lil' far fetched, but your thoughts?!?
