Re: What do you actually LIKE about BF2?

Threads like this tick me off: Unnecessary, The game doesn't need defending, and I see them all the time.

    But if you insist..

-The AT rockets are not too great against infantry. With little practice it's almost a sniper rifle, but I so rarely get mauled by SRAWs and ERYX that I'm thankful for this

-Despite some people using the english voiceovers, I really like the foreign languages. I'm no Arabic language expert and I know it's slop but for me it adds lots of badassness to playing MEC

-I love gunners being implemented so well

-The squad system absolutely r0x my s0x when it works out properly, so does the commander position even though arty can ruin a good game sometimes

-Unlocks are a neat idea. If there were more and they were harder to unlock like before, it would feel a lot more unique though. It was cool to see the armies' native weapons more and people dedicated to a class or two. Oops, I'm getting negative aren't I?

-The player models are pretty cool looking. I quit CSS because of the lack of models. Wtf is that all about?

-Finally, the game is just really pretty over all. The graphics are pretty spiffy and the maps are well made. What can I say, they were off to a good start!

I like staring at the critically wounded screen listening to the birds chirping, or when you in an area by yourself sneaking somewhere hearing the samething, or the sound of incoming armor in the distance. Immersion is really good in this game.
