Re: Snipers Vs Anything but infantry.

To be fair to some of the comments on here, i worked for the M.O.D repairing APC's and i've seen where a 7.62 round has gone through a warrior armoured personnal carriers armoured aluminium side walls and the antispall and puntured a seat behind the shi77er. So i can't see why a .50 round could'nt injure APC passengers.

For the record i would'nt like to see this in the game though.

      Grenade in the Tank

Does bother anyone else that you can chunk a grenade inside the Tank it does absolutley nothing! Thats retarded>>>> It should kill the driver, but probably do little to no damage to the tank.
      Just an observation....

Nothing a sniper can do in bf2 bout this tho. And i dont think it would be a good addition to the game anyway
Umm...the magazine is inside the tank.

I spot a lot too. So here's a noobilicious question: when you spot, does the enemy "hear" you if they are nearby? Put another way, is there a downside to spotting that is detrimental to yourself? The reason I ask is I never hear enemy guys spotting so I thought it was safe to do so for myself and my guys.

          TIA.

I'm pretty sure you can hear all the voice commands the enemy is voicing as long as they are close enough.

This has saved my but many times, as I could hear the enemy spotting things, reviving, throwing nades, ect ect. Definitely adds to the immersion being able to hear world radio commands.

i finished a BH once with 3 shots of the m24 lol , got 5 kills for it :p (it was smoking already and they tried to fly home).

also try to make headshots always, if you hit body , change quickly to pistol, usualy 1 hit is enough to finish.

btw snipers are scouts, so your job is to spot those tanks etc for your guys , so they finish them off.

Sniper is not a Main Attack force , so dont play like it was.

This game is more arcade than simulation.

By the way, in real life you can throw a grenade into the hatch of a tank, but thanks for trying to sound smart, better luck next time.

Because in real life, people drive around in tanks with the hatches open and unlocked, waiting for someone to put a grenade in.
