Hey guys.

Today I took my laptop into work because I knew it would be a slow day. I loaded BF2 on it and figured I could burn the day by playing a little single player action...polish my L33T SKILLZ ...(or total lack there of).:p


Oh my god.....I have to have my scrotum mailed back to me from China.....

I forgot how well programmed the bots were.

You tend to overlook human mistakes when playing online, so you're able to hide, and out maneuver and benefit from the lack of sight from our fellow man. Even run way away from the heat of battle to continue to fight.

Not in these little 16 player death matches. It was painful. No lube.

At first I was happy to see no bunny hopping, noob tubing, and dolphin diving. They were playing as the game should be played...that is....until they started ass raping me horribly.

Talk about L33t lol...as bots, they pulled out knives and paddles while close and was just pounding me into the ground, pwnd me with every single kit, and even pushed me off buildings. OVER AND OVER . MAP AFTER MAP.

I decided to try my hand at sniping just to sit back and watch the massacre....nope.

Commander was all in my rectum....each reload of the arty.....directly over me...never a safe spot.


WOW....

If you really want to tighten up your skills.....play a few rounds of single player.....mine was on the easy setting.

Some might flame and say I'm a big puss for getting owned like that....you'll be surprised at how much we start to suck after human error sets in.

Yea I played SP the other day and was delightfully surprised how "human" they were...Minus all the bunnyhopping, noob tubing, dolphin diving, and smack talking.

I find that the bots suck at small arms combat. On the highest difficulty rating, they have a tendency to fire tank shells at my chopper with frightening precision.

And the knife thing is funny too. It's an interesting way to kill a bot; run close to him so he pulls his knife and then blast him when he charges right into the business end of your rifle. lol

im sorry but the bots are alright but ive seen better, even when im playing with them on Expert im getting 40 - 3 KDR, but atleast hey play the real game, also i think vetern difficulty is harder the expert, on expert all the bots do is switch to opposite team of me, so im left with 6 bots while they have 9 but they still lose :p but yer that better than ppl give them credit for, especailly since they dont punsih for TK :laugh: but boy do they TK a lot

I think that sp is many a chopper pilots 'secret' to owning. I played hours and hours on multiplayer flying chopper doing decent, but until the day that I could beat the bots on dalian plant on expert I wasnt ****. Beware the tunguska!!! Those bots are absolutely deadly with that thing. One thing thats fun to do...get in a vehicle...pick up a bot and tell them to bail out. They actually listen. Unlike most crappy gunners i pick up

The bots are horrible with small arms and cant hit crap, but they can snipe you from across the map with any vehicle machinegun. And though it is quite scarry to see a bunch of them charge you with a knife, they rarely actually kill you. Its great to watch the bots get into a big knife fight. Oman is great for this, its so funny.

Unfortunatly I dont have a fast internet speed so SP is what I'm stuck on. I still find it fun though. I always thought that playing MP would be harder but maybe when I do get a faster internet speed I will be pretty good because of all the practise from SP.

bots suck, they have no acurracy and dont evade cover, wanna try hard on easy..try FEAR bots, not the hardest game but the bots have accuracy and great evasion.
Tanks and vehicles there deadly, but on foot I pop them off.

WHat there really good at, flying the plane, I mean there not great...but I have an easier time shooting down human pilots sometimes hehe

I agree, not bad flyers but seriously, In SP I own. I can go around knifing them all with no trouble. Give me a tank I i will still Pwn however they all do go AT as you should when a tank is seen. I get bored in Sp and sniping is total rubbish unless you find a good spot to hide in, and it's so damn easy. Inaccurate dumbasses. It's nice to see a change of bunny hopping and the like though.

Unless the bots have been upgraded a lot since v1.0 (when my broadband was down) then I have to disagree. The bots weren't even hard to beat on hard.

honestly it is very easy when you play single player "easy level"
you can just kill any bot in your face. you can be a sniper and hide where you cannot be reached by arty. When I play single player I barely get killed few times... and I definitly kill tens of bots easily.

Look... I am not a great player. Actually I am about average. probably your computer did not respond the way it were supposed to.

Heh, I've always thought the bots were far too easy. On easy they have such slow reaction times that you can just use the knife for the whole round. I have, that was good fun. But even on expert they aren't really a challenge compared to human players, who are often much better and intelligent. Not to metion online you have the trouble of ping and networking. Even when I have a ping of 20, I find my guns much more accurate offline. Perhaps it'll all in my head...

The only thing is, there seems to be some kind of glitch in SF bots. On certain maps, they keep headshotting me with the AK-101 (and no other gun) from bloody miles away. Well, about 300m, but still. :p
