with m24 is easy to make headshot because of crosshair
with m95 you make more damage but is't harder to make headshot because of that funny thick crosshair

He claims that you always give 95 damage with the us sniper no matter where you hit and that ive just killed the enemys in one shot because they were already damaged. He also says that the sniper unlock cant kill with headshot neither.

Whos right? I'm getting my next unlock soon and it might be the sniper. But i dont want it if i cant headshot with it... Please help sorting this out?

        Cheers
Yeh your right but..... OR you can hit the body and just give them 95 damage.....a shot to the body with the m24 will give around 55 percent damage infact a shot to anywhere but the head will give that. The M95 will give 95 damage (2bars left) with a hit anywhere... obviously headshot kills in one shot. So the M95 and the M24 both kill a target in 2 shots to the body... only the M24 is more accurate thus rendering the M95 useless (i mean really how often do you shot someone out of the cockpit of a plane or helo more than 100 meters away!!??) unless ur playing MEC/PLA even then those semi-autos can hold their own pretty well.

Pistol is two to the head, even at point blank if they have full health. I made a video of it with a clanmate, once I can compress it and post it I'll post a link if you like.

True, I usually aim for the head or chest anyway so I don't feel cheap :P

You're almost right. I'm talking about the fact, that sometimes a clear headshot only causes a puff of smoke rising from the target's head. I had this today, I shot an enemy sniper in the head two times in a row and all I got was some smoke from the burnt ghillie suit(geez, i didn't know the game was That realistic). Probably there is a secret, unlockable Admiral Benson kit...

Not only game file accuracy needs to be accounted for, but internet issues too. What looks like a head shot to you may not register server side as such once the infomation has been processed.

anyone who played this game for more then 2 minutes knows it.
Or ppl who can read the game files.

ALL headshots are lethal, except for those weapons that do 20 or less damage (namley, the Colts and Anti Tank SMGs (and of course single shotgun bullets from the JH, Dao and Saiga), but they do a lot of damage instead)

Also notice that the Hitboxes are weird, a "headshot" in BF is not a face shot or throatshot, its a hit directly where the helmet is.

Its been tested and confirmed a thousand times.
Even grenades (like Smokes or Flashs) tossed directly at the head will do more damage then when thrown into the stomach.

The times three thing isn't right because you can kill some one with a single shot with a pistol. Me and a friend would kill each other about every third try with a single shot. I am not sure if it matters what class they are but we were both playing spec ops class on a private server.
