Hopefully we will get what everyone moaned about when the game came out, that the sniper class was really underpowered. With the increased accuracy in 1.2 patch (I may have just made this up/pls correct if wrong) + new rifle, something has been done about it.

I know I will be saying ffs alot more, but will hopefully enjoy sniper class more. Sniper ftw :evil:

Not really looking forward to the new sniper. I already love the Mec and China sniper rifles because you can kill multiple enemies at a much quicker rate than the bolt actions. Sure the bolt action is more accurate at a range but ive taken on enough snipers with the dragunov even though they have the M95 or M24. I also have the M95 but i think its a clunky piece of ****.

They need to give us high powered binoculars for observation at greater distances, and an SMG sidearm. MEC-Bizon US-MP5 PLA-their ****ty smg

I think the scope should be upped a little bit with the L96 but Binoculars would be better...ones that make it so you can see past the "fog"

....a fully healed person, god forbid he twisted his ankle coming down a hill. NO ONE SHOT KILL CENTER OF MASS WEAPONS. The M24 in game really is the best sniper rifle ....BY FAR.

I dont know why everyone is blowing about wanting more magnification and the ability to adjust the powers on the sniper rifles for, most maps you cant see past 300meters anyway. And the ones you can, if you up'd the magnification itd be too hard to hit squat anyway. In my humble opinion if you have the m95 to replace the chinas and MEC's rifle then thats all you need.

No offence,there hard to get an all, but very satisfying when you do, no?

Hopefully increase in accuracy will help a lot, some of the rifles feel so useless.

Man, so much bitching about weapons which have nothing wrong with them. The only sniper rifle that isn't that great is the M95 because of range and that is to balance it out. Seriously, you guys need to practice shooting because I have a 2.32 k/d ratio with the sniper rifle and I can do that with any of them and if I can, you can.

And what is this stuff about a sniper needing a new sidearm. That is a complete waste of time since snipers are suppose to stay concealed and focus on sniping and not go full auto on someone. All you need is a pistol for personal defense and that gun is pretty useless anyway seeing as snipers have no armor so they are dead quickly if traveling alone.

And if you want ot use the M95, you have to account for bullet drop and aim it over the target etc. It is for closer ranges and for longer ranges use the other rifles.

The new sniper rifle will at least give the other armies a chance for a good long range and more powerful rifle. The semi autos are good, but they also need a weapon with more accuracy close to the M24.

Alot of snipers actually do carry SMGs in case of short range firefights

I love sniping, and when i have the m24, I can get headshots all day. The M95 isnt as bad as everybody thinks, but there is one thing I hate about it and hope the new sniper doesnt have...A big ass crosshair

The M95 crosshair is bigger than the enemy's head most of the time, making it SO much harder for that o' so satisfying headshot.

Sniper will always be the most fun class

Yeah, as said before, it's just another .308 bolt action. Probably designed to bring an M24 to the MEC and the PLA. Fingers crossed it has thin sights like the Type 88.
