After reducing the requirements for most awards, you'd think they would change the WCR w/l requirement to something more reasonable like 2:1 I only ever play on public servers, which means my chances of having a 3:1 WLR in the near future is slim to none. Oh well. If I really wanted it, I could have just gotten through underhanded means anyway (teamstacking, quitting if I knew my team would lose, switch in the middle of the round to the winning team, etc.). Stats mean nothing when you can work your way around them like that.

Usually stats mean nothing to people wanting them real bad and cant achieve them!

It is so nice not to have to worry about wins/losses now. I can go afk and not sweat the fact that my team might screw up if I step away.

It made for some damn fun comebacks though. Taking a loss when going for the WCR was a huge blow - knowing that the one loss means that you have to play 3 more rounds and win just to nullify that loss.

If you are serious about the WCR - start early. When I first started realizing that I could do it - I had to get almost 700 wins with no losses in order for it to happen.

I am happy to say that I have maintained my 3:1 since recieving it as well - I am now down to a 3.09 from a 3.25 a little while ago. Honestly now I could care less if I drop to a 1:1 lol.

You're wrong.
Quitting will still register the loss against you if your team ultimately loses the round.

Also, playing on autobalance servers means you avoid completely teamstacking and switching in the middle of a round.

I got mine this weekend after lots of hard work. I've improved a LOT as a player and commander and also noticed some interesting trends as to how to win games - THAT is how I got mine.

This strikes a chord with me :)
I was less extreme and only needed to effectively win a few hundred rounds in a row (which I obviously didn't) but the tension inherent in close rounds where you simply must win is superb! Also, I found the last 10 rounds I needed to win to get 3.00 were incredibly tense too - with only hours to go I knew a loss would set me back even more hours!

Great ribbon to get, huge amounts of fun. Unlike the badges that have seemingly arbitrary amounts of time requirements - where's the fun in that?
