u should have got the other shotguns there.....

i cant choose any, cause for me they are both alot worse than the american or chinese pump action shotguns.

DAO-12 definately! This thing is a cannon and my favorite unlock to date. It kills anything in a couple shots except armor of course but it is awsome. If my life was in the red area and I was against three guys and I had the DAO, I would win.

DAO-12. The Engineers have good standard shotguns, but the Anti tank really needs a better weapon.

The Jackhammer really has the DAO beat in the 1 vs 1 department, though I've taken on 2-3 with smart shooting, I still chose my baby MK3 but in the end the DAO is probably better. It really compliments the AT kit and it's much easier to reload.

The guns are pretty even apart from slightly different ammo count and damage but what it comes down to is the alternate weapon choice for that kit. The engineers already have decent shoties so the jackhammer is just a lavish accessory. The AT kit however has crappy sub machines guns so the doa-12 is a welcome addition. So thats where my vote went

Another one for the DOA. I play engineer al the time and hate it the DOA is the AT unlock. If you empty the slot of the jack without a pause you are sure to miss.

With practice, the Jackhammer is a really good gun, up close you can take anyone out w/ two shots. Farther away it usually takes up the whole magazine, but you could always use the pistol.

I am one of those in the teeny-tiny minority that loves the Jackhammer, I love it as a weapon, but it was a symbol, and that was why I used it.

Before the patch screwed with the ranks, seeing someone with a Jackhammer out showed that they meant business, those were the real engineers, the ones so dedicated to their job they used their unlock on engineer shotgun.

Well at least that's what I thought, everyone on these forums seems to hate the Jackhammer, and if they have it they just never use it. Oh well, I still prefer my Jackhammer/Engineer Romantization, so I typically ignore the hate about the shotgun itself.
