LOL someone complaining about not receiving a purple heart. :laugh: Trust me dude you should be thankful you didnt get it. In your same situation i would have d/ced myself from the server to ensure it didn't get recorded.

I dont have mine and dont plan on getting it anytime soon. I suggest you follow suit unless you want to be known as noob :laugh:

Yeah I got it while back on wake, one of those days when you play like **** and the guys on your team and squad are total tards. They woulden't listen to me (squad leader) or our commander and thus I got the PH.:hmm:

Man....that is a "Medal of Shame" ....

Its more like a <<sacrifice>> medal. In real life, this medal is highly regarded cuz that means you've been wounded in some extraordinary way and you survived to tell the story.

i didnt get it because i was being a noob. i got it because i was doing a lot of experimenting with C4s and with my friend who was my opponent. We were testing gun accuracy and mostly predicting sniper shots and noob tube shots. stuff like that.

I got mine being a medic way back when. I do not care if its shameful. i earned it by keeping my team alive and we won the round as a I remember. I AM PROUD OF MINE!

To answer your question - yes you can get it from jumping on your own grenades if you want. I would recommend you go run at a tank with your knife drawn though - less pts down - same result.

If you are dead - and you get revived by a teammate - that does not go into your death count I don't believe. Just check the second number from the right next to your name in the score screen (TAB). It is the one under the white skull. When that number reaches 20 and your crosshair one next to it is at 5 - you get it.
