    I agree with that

I do agree that the minimum arming is a very important fix but the GL already had a fairly small blast radius. If it got reduced too much the assault class is going to be pretty crap (unless the G3 is good) or all the assault rifles get an accuracy boost.

Also does anyone know what is going on with the GL grenades bouncing off walls? Do they still explode when they hit the ground? I thought GL exploded on impact in real life.

Already mentioned the extra mags idea, would be really nice. Also, I never understood why you're only given one smoke. I suppose they were worried about people spamming them and lagging things up, but I doubt people would think of them even if given 1 extra, and it doesn't last long anyways (not long enough to be of any use ;/).

I do not know why did the make the blast radius smaller. I also do not think it was a must after they introduced the arming distance. I read in some interview with one of the developers and he said that when they introduced GL they had in mind that players will shoot vehicles with it. Maybe they made it stronger now so that it makes a difference on a vehicle larger then buggy.

Grenades explode when the bounce of something. I hope that it won't happen that someone bounces a grenade of your chest so that it explodes on the ground in front of you.

My smoke grenade has saved me many times, mainly when I'm capping a flag and an APC or Tank rolls up. I take cover throw the smoke out and then use it to escape. It works at least 2 out of 3 times for me.

Yea, two smokes would be nice. I rarely play assault but often get smoked by one and it is pretty effective. Especially against tanks and APSs. You can efficiently escape using smoke.

G3 is already a wonderful rifle. I definitly like it more than any other assault rifle even with the current 20-round mag.

I see what will be my next unlock. I actually haven't unlocked G3 cause I do not play assault that much. But I used on a number of ocasions when I picked up a kit from dead fighters. It seems like a wonderful rifle but I think it should be more powerful and more precise.

In the same time I think F2000 is overpowered beacuse this is a 5.56x45 bullet rifle. G3 uses an extremly powerful 7.62x51 round.

I find the G3 to be uber effective for it's ammo count and easy to aim for iron sights, the thing that gives the F2000 is it's scope, i find that it's scope can make life very easy for a mid range target when set to semi auto even though the gun isn't very effective on rock n roll.

F2000 is fairly unimpressive (not that it's bad, but it's not great) if you ask me. And since when was BF2 realistic? You might as well ask why the AK-101's 5.45 (or was it 5.56?) round does 50% more damage than the M249 or M4.

Also does anyone know what is going on with the GL grenades bouncing off walls? Do they still explode when they hit the ground? I thought GL exploded on impact in real life.
I suspect (or rather hope) that the grenade will only bounce if it hasn't been in the air long enough to arm. After all, DICE said they wanted it to be used against vehicles, and what good would they be for that if they bounced right off the target? :p

                        Re: G3A3 revival

Oh man I seriously hope they give the G3 a good vamp, Assault class with the G3 is the true pure rifleman in this game (only Grenadiers carry GLs) and it's badass the way 1 shot to the head kills a guy EVERY time not like that 2-3 hit crap with the Spec Ops carbines. The G3 badly needed 2 or 3 more mags in its current state but if the accuracy increase is good enough then I'll shut up. :)

I've always thought the vanilla Assault class should've had recharge for their smoke grenade. Like you throw one smoke and the recharge would then give you another smoke grenade but possibly make it take as long as the missile on the APC takes to reload so people wouldn't spam it and cause lag with smoke everywhere.

The G3 is awsome. I usually have no problem taking out those f2000 fellas with it - if ther first nade missed of course
Took some time to get used to it but I can't wait to see it a bit more accurate on long distances. I think I should be able to counter a camping g36 as assault class...

The G3 magazines are 20 round magazines, so we can't expand that, but I would like more mags then.

Yes, 20 rounds makes a lot of sense when you are in prone position. Your silhouette will be a lot smaller, and you won't have to stretch your neck, and pop your head up in order to get a proper aim with your iron sights.
                              It just sucks ingame
