Finally another poor soul lost on this server. I posted this same message in the Bugs section last week.

Dandred, I play on that server as well, and have the same problems...you get mega points, new badges and whatnot and it never seems to record your new stats...right? My best suggestion is to open you game search to include the Japanese servers as well. All of the Japanese servers have 32 player maps listed in the 'b' sections(ie. EA Japan 1b..2b..3b..etc). The pings are usually up around the 80-200 range depending on the day, and the Japanese servers all reset at 3pm/3am...but since this HORRIBLE excuse for a Korean server is all we got as far as BF:SF goes, the Japanese servers are your only real option if youwant to play SF.
I do feel your pain though, that Korean server always has some good games on it, tons of fun, and great ping, but NO POINTS/AWARDS get recorded. I have been waiting a couple weeks now, and my points never update..I think I have received my vet sniper badge 3 or 4 times now..very frustrating as the server is listed as a ranked and always seems to be near full~~

I thought I was just me. I've even asked people on the sever by typing if they have the same problem and the few people who can read English always say yes.

I think I've seen your name a few time quite a good player if I remember, I play nearly every day from around 9pm to 2am depending when my beer runs out.

I've also been awarded basic and vet sniper badges, ribbons and a few other class awards that never turn up. I don't really mind because as you say it's a bloody good server, just after so long I think i've missed out on my next promotion, see you there unless you see me first :cry::evil:

You should still try and contact EA about this to get it fixed. It really is quite poor that an offical EA ranked server isn't ranked.

I contacted EA(twice) about the server problem...and this is the help they gave me.....and please take note of the IMMENSE help his final reply gave me.

I play in Korea and there is only 1 64 player Special Forces server-->(211.50.137.229. 16567)It is an official server, but my(along with others I spoke to both in and out of game) have not had their stats updated...ever, from playing in this server. When at 1st you don't succeed try and try again. Well atleast this seems to be the case when dealing with EA. Their customer support leaves a lot to be desired.

Can I ask if you are running patch 1.12? As I said if you are still at 1.03 or below the stats will not update because its past the cutoff date for the server to update stats.

The "only" other cause is that EA for some unknown reason (seeings how its an Official EA Ranked server) don't have the IP address logged so it collects stats. The reason they did this is if someone managed to get the ranked server files they couldn't have their stat padding be accounted for because without the IP being logged it won't collect stats.

can anyone confirm this? I was playing last nite and got my sf expert badge, and it hasnt shown up yet. its been about 14hrs since. I havent seen any servers take THAT long.

Almost all servers use to take that long but it has improved a lot since then. Ours updates pretty much instantly at the end of the round however I still here some servers take up to 2 days before the stats update, dunno why though.

that expert medal never did show up in my stats. GG EA.

Well, I finally received word about this server from a different tech...and it don't look good for us poor sods in Korea~~

I do thank you for sending us this information so we can see what we can be done on this game. We are always looking to better ways of playing the game. If any changes are made they will be put into place.
I understand this must be a very frustrating issue that you have on your hands here. I can assure that the development teams will work on these issues and when they find a better way of playing this game by fixing these issue they will put it in place. I've not been able to EA Europe & EA UK servers since about early September. Contacted EA in October, chase them every week, I get the same reply where they say that it is an account problem where stats are not updating from some servers and that they will forward the problem to the US.....and it doesnt get fixed.

I'm not sure how many S Korea servers there are, but advice, log it with EA then forget about playing on there for the next 9 months. Then try a round & see if it updates. If not, go & buy UT2007. In fact, buy UT2007 anyway.

What a joke. All they have to do is add the ip to their master ranked server list and voila, its a real ranked server. Its obviously using the ranked server files it just that the ip is not logged so stats don't get collected/collated. Geez less than 1mins work to fix it.

It could also be the EA people in Korea don't/can't comunicate so well with English speaking EA people.

I will get my Korean girlfrind to send an email to EA Korea to see if that's any more helpfull
