1 EA server giving points?

I play in Korea so use the Sf EA 64 server nearly everyday.

However this server does not add any points to my score, what can I do about this, would this be only me or would other people have the same problem? Who can I tell about this to get it fixed? This has been happening since I started playing on the server.

I've been awared many awards and never had them in my BFHQ also hundreds on points.

Tonight I played for a hour or two gat about 300 points, nothing back at BHFQ
went to another server and got the points instantly.

This has been happening since I first started playing SF, about 2-3 months

Yup..that is a ranked server.

Since it's currently FULL, I'm assuming that most people probably aren't having problems with it.

So you're saying that you've been playing on this particular server regularly and NONE of the points and/or awards you see yourself receiving in-game have showed up in BFHQ?

I know SOMEtimes, it can take days for stats to update.

Are you running ANY sort of software firewall? I have heard about some people whose stats were not updating and all they had to do was to log in with their account at a friend's house, and BLAM..all of the stats appeared. So it can sometimes have something to do with your computer not allowing certain information to pass through.

The reason it's full is that it's the only 64 player server in this part of the world with out excessive ping.

The only firewall I'm useing is the windows one.

Also using spyware AVG no viruses or spyare afaik.

Well just a little advice why keep going there. If you went to a bad restaurant would you keep going back? A little common sense is needed!

Mmmm I wish it was so simple re-read my post about it being the only 64 sf server in this part of the world.

If you could only get your water from one pipe and it was dirty would you not drink?

I love playing, so I won't stop. I just want to know how I can let the powers that be fix this.

But it may not be a bad server. It may be a really good server so he goes on there often.

Sounds like that server for some reason whilst it comes up ranked hasn't had the IP logged with EA for a ranked server. Unless the IP is logged it won't collect stats. This has happened to a lot of servers, inlcuding some of the big servers in Australia.

Send EA an email and inform them about this and ask if the IP is logged to ensure ranked server status and that the stats will get collected.

Strange though its an offical EA server but wouldn't necessarily suprise me.

BTW what version is it running if its not running 1.12 by now then that's another reason the stats won't be collected because servers have a cut off date to install the latest patch from when it was released. If they don't meet that deadline then the stats stop getting collected.

They are the only 2 things I can think of.

We have a lot of Koreans playing on our server in the wee hours of the morning USA time. The only trouble is most can't read or understand English hence they can't read the rules and a lot often get kicked for breaking them.

I would find a 32 player server then. Personally there are only so many times that I can stand to be kicked in the nuts like that....nah - pretty much just one time...heh.

can anyone confirm this? I was playing last nite and got my sf expert badge, and it hasnt shown up yet. its been about 14hrs since. I havent seen any servers take THAT long. :cry:

Almost all servers use to take that long but it has improved a lot since then. Ours updates pretty much instantly at the end of the round however I still here some servers take up to 2 days before the stats update, dunno why though.

Dandred, I play on that server as well, and have the same problems...you get mega points, new badges and whatnot and it never seems to record your new stats...right? My best suggestion is to open you game search to include the Japanese servers as well. All of the Japanese servers have 32 player maps listed in the 'b' sections(ie. EA Japan 1b..2b..3b..etc). The pings are usually up around the 80-200 range depending on the day, and the Japanese servers all reset at 3pm/3am...but since this HORRIBLE excuse for a Korean server is all we got as far as BF:SF goes, the Japanese servers are your only real option if youwant to play SF.
I do feel your pain though, that Korean server always has some good games on it, tons of fun, and great ping, but NO POINTS/AWARDS get recorded. I have been waiting a couple weeks now, and my points never update..I think I have received my vet sniper badge 3 or 4 times now..very frustrating as the server is listed as a ranked and always seems to be near full~~

You should still try and contact EA about this to get it fixed. It really is quite poor that an offical EA ranked server isn't ranked.
