I got mine when i was havin a terrible round i was on 4 kills 16 deaths so i decided i may aswell get the medal while i was playin like a complete noob.
I see it as a medal, and as a completionist I must have that medal.

"I've got a purple heart and you don't" doesnt exactly sound to great either.
On another note I'd worry about getting the Infantry Sharpshooter Medal and War College Ribbon before even thinking about completion of all the awards.
why does everyone take the mik out of "noobs"? everyone was a "noob" at one point. Its like takin the mic out of a baby;weve all been one (some still are). When you first got the game, i bet YOU ran around killing the wrong people
Yeah, I got it one game, I was getting owned, trying to defend a control point. Some blackhawk was circleing around just raping the flag not really trying to cap it. I kept the control point for the most part, but died like 20 times and had like 5 or 6 kills. And tada, purple heart :p
Well I got it playing like I normally do. Doing whatever it takes to help my team win.
I have a low kills:death ratio because I play aggressively. I don't really care if I die allot. I do what it takes to help my team win. That is why most of the time I end up being one of the players with the highest team score.
Most players play conservative, "Don't want to mess up my stats," meanwhile thier team is getting the **** stomped out of them.
Whilst being sniper it goes terribly wrong, but I like playing medic a lot, just hanging around behind a mob of ours and reviving when they get tubed or grenaded on Karkand.
