FFAR is not a hellfire missile. FFAR is an unguided small rocket that is guided by the pilot by aiming the entire chopper at the target. The Hellfire is a guided missile which is guided using an onboard computer and its own systems. Its aimed by a laser (aimed by ground troops or the helo itsself) or a radar (helo). Marked respectovely as Hellfire and Hellfire II. The TV missile in BF2 is Maverick (MEC and CHI of course have different names).

So basically you mix up, Hellfires, Mavericks and FFARs. Only Mavericks and FFARs in BF2 though.

Stinger is a heatseeking anit-aircraft missile.

I didn't mix up anything, you simply can't read. The names Hellfire and FFAR were used in seperate forms under similar circumstances to further illustrate the point.

And I am telling that there is no Hellfire in BF2 nor similarily guided missiles. The properties of the missiles in BF2 are all the same, but youre mixing up the missiles themselves. No Hellfire there.

I googled for "what is a stinger". Google, being as smart as it is, figured out that I wanted a dictionary look-up for 'stinger', and promptly gave it to me.

Apparently a stinger is 'a modified egg-laying organ used to inject venom; commonly found on females of some ants, as well as bees, wasps, and scorpions'.

Ooh, sounds fun.
