What type of frame rates are you guy's getting in game i am curious as to how well this card will run the game.

Well I have a 6600GT which is a bit better than just a vanilla (regular) 6600. With almost all high settings I get about 40-50.

i have a 6600 GT OC by BFG which gets me all high settings wih textures medium, low or maybe high depending on how much ram and processor you have.

anti aliasing at 2x takes away all jaggies and doesnt hurt performance at all for me, unlike changing shadows from medium to high.

medium, and low on lighting so i can play lag free in SF choppers.. *sigh stupid patch. used to play 80+fps b4 the patch on reg bf2.

with a regular 6600 256mb, 512 ram and a p4 2.53ghz on my old comp, i played medium at around 40-60fps

45-55 constant fps with my 6600gt oced to 555/1100

i get 30/40 sometimes higher but if i play on med i get real major lag
and more probs occure when i instal SF

I have a 6600 128mb, I'm not sure what frame rates exactly I get, but I've never had lag with it as far as my eyes could see.
I have everything set to medium, with anti-alias at 2x and screen resolution at 1024X768.
I'm happy with it

I only get like 30 - 40ish in BF2 on medium, is it because of my drivers? I think they're still on the 77.77's

i got the same card and my system is........
amd 2.6 semperon
1280ram.
6600gt 500/1000
550watt psu
and i get 85fps in single player low settings
60 mid settings

and online 50-70 depending on map and location
i got the new drivers and it seem to be a little faster.maybe they help you

Could possibly be your processor and 2 gigs of ram wouldn't hurt.

Which drivers should I get?
