Mechinized Battles + Attack Jets = A10 (GAWD I hope so!!)

Anyone remember the tank hunting A10 in BF1942 DC Mod?


Armored Fury will be released on March 28th and the focus is on large mechanized battles, harking back to the El Alamein style maps on BF1942. There will be 3 new maps – “Midnight Sun”, “Operation Harvest” and “Operation Road Rage” – but also 2 new vehicle classes. Attack Jets and Recon Helicopters, which can spot nearby enemy units, will make their debut.

U mean the JAS-39 Gripen, not the SU-39, there's no such thing as the SU-39, but there is the SU-25 flogger, which is teh russian equivelent of the A-10.

U mean the JAS-39 Gripen, not the SU-39, there's no such thing as the SU-39, but there is the SU-25 flogger, which is teh russian equivelent of the A-10.

Do you get anything right? There is a SU-39:




Note the sloping up well before and into the cockpit section just like in the render:



Where as the SU-25 is almost perfectly straight until just before the cockpit section:

Sounds pretty cool, but won't match the intensity of DC El Alamein rounds, or DC Desert Shield rounds.

I'd rather download USI for free then pay ten bucks for a few models and maps. Oh wait, everyone wants there "ub3r 1337" unlocks. Besides, our A-10 and Su looks better and will probably fly better...
