Which SF weapon to unlock first?

Any suggestions will be welcomed. I have everything unlocked in vanilla BF2 except Medic and Support. Which SF guns are decent? Anything with similar stats as G3? I'm gunnery Srgt so I think I should be able to choose at least 2 unlocks after completing a round in SF, right?

I think you should get 3 unlocks for SF if you have not used any yet (if you just got the game). Looking at your stats since you play assault so much IMO the f2000 is a must, so far i've unlocked f2000 for assault, the scar-l for spec op and the g36e for medic. I love all of those 3 i've unlocked, although i still find myself using the g36c over the scar-l.

Thnx Twisted-, I'm trying my best not to use nade launcher as much as I used to at the beginning but the f2000 looks so cool. I think I might go with the same 3 that you did.

Definitely in that order.

The G36E isn't even remotely balanced against the others.

Lowering the damage isn't exactly an improvement. It already takes what 7 rounds to kill an armored class? The extra ammo will be nice though.

I'd save one just in case one of the new Anti Tank or Sniper weapons are exceptionally good.

The 2 new unlocks? Yes. The patch is due out very soon.

So far, I have unlocked the F2000 and SCAR-L, and was pretty disappointed by both. I admit I didn't use the F2000 much yet, but I find it has a lot of recoil compared to the G3. Tested SCAR-L for a while, got back to the M4 (but is still useful when playing MEC). I'll probably unlock MG36 next, and sincerely hope this gun is worth it!

I'm medic alot, so my first unlock was G36E
