what i would like to see is the elevators on the dock crane to work i think that would be great...just a suggestion to any modders capable out there. i know its static @ the moment but im sure someone could do it.

Mapping is definately fun, making this map taught me how to do so many things. 2 weeks ago I knew nothing, today I know twice that much, lol. Uploading to Fileplanet as I write this, will include a link when it is done. I know it has some things wrong with it, but I wanted to get it finished because my clan was clammoring for it to be finished. :)

No Fileplanet didn't work, Filecloud had a 25mb cap on free accounts, so I broke down and got a 1 month $4.95 account just so I could get this map to you guys.

It has gone through many tweaks since it's first release.

Where do I extract the folders + .zips to?

programfiles\eagames\bf2\mods\bf2\levels
directory name should be rangerev2, leave the server.zip and client.zip files zipped or it won't work.

directory should have an Info folder, plus 2 zip files when you are done.

Dude it dose not work! you extract it to the required location and nothing happens! when i try to connect your server it says i don't have the required map, even though i have the files in the levels folders. Are you sure we don't have to install it? because its not working!

Sure you've got the 3 files in: program files\eagames\bf2\mods\bf2\levels\rangerev2 ??

when you unzip the .rar file, it dosn't make a new folder, it just unzips as it is in the .rar file..

well, bunch of guys from the 77th clan were on my server last night playing it after downloading it.

just go to your levels directory and create a folder named rangerev2 then make sure that when you extract the files you have 1 server.zip file, 1 client.zip file and 1 folder in there that is called info and has some regular .con files in it.

Perhaps I didn't rar it properly, it is my first map. you may have to do a little extra work to get it set up right. But the files are all there.

It should look like this when you are done

When you click the rar to extract it, you need to tell it where to extract to.

Yeah, this is WO. Repstock from the 77th, I played with BadLizzard yesterday. I highly recommend clans to download this map and put it on their prac server. I can't wait to play this map again in our 77th prac, in our brand new server.
