Yes, it is their server and their rules, but the fact is with more and more servers starting up retarded rules based on their own enabilities to win without making the game a preschool event, it is becoming harder and harder to find servers to play on without treading on eggshells so you don't get kicked because some whiner rented a server. It's a WAR game, all's fair in love and war (unless you're whiner with cash).

Jesus, It's like telling other people: "OMG ! Stop killing me !! Stop it you n00b !", it is only fault of your team or your own that you are letting someone just go and stole your jet or heli... of course if it is happenning on a server when stealing vehicles is strongly restricted than it's a different story. But no-one will care about you and 'your' jet on a normal server...

Jesus it's like visiting someones house and then complain about their furniture and that the food they are giving you taste like ****. Find a server that rules you can agree on or rent/buy/get your own one.

My thought is if someone pays for a server they should be able to make rules as long as they follow EA's guidelines if it is a ranked server.

Stealing assets is the sign of a bad commander who is not checking their radar sweeps.

On most maps there is a line longer than the women's restroom at a rock concert waiting for a plane.

Playing last night when the Dam map starts, I come out SF and grab a fast mover with the intent of taking out some command assets at the intake.
I come over the hill to see both jets still in their hangers and decide that stealing a plane would be a better tactical move but did not expect to be able to actually accomplish it due to the large number of enemy surrounding the aircraft.
Guess they didn’t expect it because I get it and take off. YES!

They restarted the server.
and I was warned to not steal jets.

Trying to keep an open mind but I don’t get this rule.

Personally I would be embarrassed by such a rule if it was my clan.

If you play MOW, be warned they get all upset if you take their toys.

Funny, I had a similar experiance on that same server last night playing Wake. I spawn in about 5-10m into the round and grab a JSF to head out and hunt down the J-10s. I bring the one that was airborne down pretty quickly and planned to keep their air assets grounded by making passes at their airstrip every 45 seconds or so. Now, I've always thought this to be a legit tactic for the USMC on wake, seeing as how the J-10 has an advantage outright and the airstrip is cappable. But no sooner after I made my second pass/kill on the J-10 trying to take off, did I get "Let the aircraft take off now!" by an enemy player tagged MOW. To which I reply, "yes sir"... and let them take off, as I hear the pilot that was attemping to take off say something like "Yeah I'm trying to get my vet engy badge and you're screwing me up!" ...
Of course, each time they tookoff, it was to do a Bee-line to the carrier, where they were (SURPRISE!) doing the exact thing I was just told to stop doing... killing air assets on the ground and furthemore attempting to rape an uncappable spawn. :hmm:
I have no problems following server rules, (none of which were posted in a conspicious place IIRC) and I did so, but don't tell the other team not to do something you have every intention of doing yourself given the same chance. It reeks of favoritism, unfair play, and lameness. :|:
