Playing last night when the Dam map starts, I come out SF and grab a fast mover with the intent of taking out some command assets at the intake.
I come over the hill to see both jets still in their hangers and decide that stealing a plane would be a better tactical move but did not expect to be able to actually accomplish it due to the large number of enemy surrounding the aircraft.
Guess they didn’t expect it because I get it and take off. YES!

They restarted the server.
and I was warned to not steal jets.

Trying to keep an open mind but I don’t get this rule.

Personally I would be embarrassed by such a rule if it was my clan.

If you play MOW, be warned they get all upset if you take their toys.

Restart of the server is lame. If it's in their rules that stealing is banned from locked main then abide by them or leave. If it wasn't a locked main they are retards.

Most of the time the rules dont even apply. Only when one of the server admins is on the other team or on yours and we are getting raped.

I don't see any problem with stealing jets or heli's. If the opponent is stupid enough to actually let them get stolen, then it's their fault, not yours.

The best steal I had is on Wake, where there were about 6 people waiting for the heli on the Chinese team. I ran a jeep in there, flattened the lot of them, hopped in the heli and took off.

Rules are there to maintain the gaming envrionment they want to have. I don't agree with all the rules on the servers I play, but, they pay for it so I either follow or leave.

It's quite simple if you don't agree with the rules then don't go back to the server.

It's like when ppl start discussing with server admins about rules of a server, when what they should have done is to read the server rules on its website and if such does not exits follow the ruiles given.

I for one like servers where admins enforce rules and set out rules. I like server where, there's no baseraping of main, untakeable spawn, no steling of planes or vehicles from main base. No taxi driving to airfield just to get ahead and get the plane etc.

I can respect if ppl disagree with rules set forth by server admins, but still follow them.
What I can't tolerate are players that continue to disregard the server rules( whatever they may be) even when told the rules of a server.

Restarting server is debatable, and probably not the way to go, but warn, if it fails, then kick/ban.

Last night I was playing on 64 Oman in some ****y stupid ass server. Admin was running bunch of some weird messages warning ppl to not to do this and that (most of those were just idiotic). I was trying to play cool and stay away from troubles. I went for gunning run in US jet and when I flew over their airstrip I saw bomber there. So I did bail out and steal it. As I was taking off I heard that MEC just took one of the beach flags. So I did bombing run at that flag and got 5 kills. Next thing i saw was that I was getting kicked from server for spawn killing. WTF
Since when defending inland capable flag is consider spawn killing. What a lame and stupid kick it was.
I just don't get it. How you can be so ignorant and do **** like that. There is no way you will keep your server going if you behave like an idiot when you admining it that way. I will post name of this server when I get home.

And to you Gunny. Go play with legos instead. No stress. You are one of those idiots who are trying to police everything in this game.

That is BS no stealing. That is what keeps the game fun - lol.

Might as well just call me a thief - I hardly ever use my own team's vehicles...unless it is just to get me to the other team's stuff quicker - lol.

It is so much more satisfying to use their own equipment against them...plus it keeps it out of their hands and off my team's back.

It drives me nuts when the enemy steals a plane or heli from the side I'm playing on. But if the team I am on is dumb enough to let it happen then thats our fault. What a bs rule to enforce.

Stealing any vehicel is valid. Not only do you get use of the machine to do damage but you deprive the enemy of the use of it. Double whammy and great tactic.

But after saying that....it's their server, they pay for it so they can do what they want. I have a few servers I trust and like so I almost always stick to them.

If they are ranked - there are limits - or at least supposed to be.

Many server admins do push the limits - and the smaktard ones with rules like this need to lose their ranked status.

Jesus, It's like telling other people: "OMG ! Stop killing me !! Stop it you n00b !", it is only fault of your team or your own that you are letting someone just go and stole your jet or heli... of course if it is happenning on a server when stealing vehicles is strongly restricted than it's a different story. But no-one will care about you and 'your' jet on a normal server...
