I'm a big fan of the idea of ramping up the other transports rather than nerfing the BH. Personally, I'd much rather see the existing MEC/PLA transport's guns tweaked to double their rate of fire and increase their field of fire, than to just clone the 'Hawk's guns.
This would make 'em different enough to change their flavor, but bring a little much needed balance.
FYI, the MEC/PLA chopper's guns are armour penatrating while the BH's guns don't do much to armour at all. They're explosive anti-personel rounds on the BH. Something not many folks seem to realize is that the MEC chopper's can guns can take pilots outta the BHs. Unfortunaly, those guns have a slow velosity, low Rate of Fire, and rather crappy field of fire.Comment

The only difference between the Minigun and the other guns are their rate of fire. From a pure damage perspective both are the same. 1 round from a mini gun is a fraction of damage 1 round from a MEC/PLA chopper does, but with higher ROF they achieve the same DPS
What makes the mingun so good is really its ROF, since with higher ROF you can kill infantry much easier, since 1 round from a MEC chopper against infrantry is overkill while 1 round from a mini-gun is just enough, and to be honest thats all the transport chopper guns are for
So I say nerf the BH, because its silly how easy they take down infantry, its only going to be worse if all 3 sides has the same infantry mowing ability.
As for BH agility bonus, I have no problem with that, as long as they dont fix the J10 agility bonus eitherComment

Why don't we just have transport helis with no guns at all. Ur reg BH don't have guns, unless ur talking about the pave hawk, or other varients like those. And many of the other varients of the BH have the .50 cal M2 machinegune, infact, most of them have the 50 cal.Comment

The Chinese and MEC transport need one of these:
Russian GShG 7.62mm minigun. Fires the same rounds(more or less) that the M134(Blackhawk minigun) does at the same rate of fire(4000rpm). Add that sucker to the Chinese and Mec helos, then BAM Blackhawk becomes balanced. Problem solved.
As far as putting 50cals on the Blackhawk, that's harping on the wrong issue. The issue isn't that the Blackhawk with its miniguns is too powersful, its that the Chinese and MEC transport helos can't match it which makes them almost useless.
I've already got one modeled but haven't got around to skinning yet, probably going to remodel it if I can find some decent reference pictures. I was going to put it on the MI-8(MEC transport helo) in a map I'm working on.
