CompUSA has an instore instant rebate on an AGP ATI x850pro that comes to $229 after rebate.

That or a 6800gs from NewEgg for the same price...but the x850pro is much better of course.

If you can find a 6800gt or x800xl...get that. But I seriously doubt you will find either of those two for anything close to $300 in AGP today...pci-e yes.
