my friend wants to play battlefield but he needs to buy a video card taht would support it well. his mobo supports AGP video cards. The max hes willing to spend is $300. What would be the best card for him to get. thanks.

x850, or 6800GS for sure. Why get a 256 6600gt? wwhen the 6800gs has 256mb and a much better GPU, since he can spend 300$ anyways. just make sure you get the 6800gs AGP version.
this should be in support btw.

oh wait, the card has to be 4x... So AGP 4x under or exactly at $300

I would go with the 6800GT.....it is the best you can get for AGP and is $275.00 - $325.00 depending where you look.

Think about that for a moment. Dual 6600gts.... He needs AGP.... YOu can't have dual AGP cards...

Second 256k? I think you would mean 256MB.

would this support the game and is it a good deal? there is a local store that carries it.
