It would be slower than if it was going forward, but a leclerc going backwards is still extremely fast (faster than some tanks can go forwards).

It's well known how accurate and reliable the AK is.

      reliable : yes
      accurate : no

the AK47 is the most produced weapon in the world, but mainly it's produced not only iligal, but also in small workshops gattering pieces and crap together.

the AK47 is far from accurate.

      read this

and that line : don't you love it when people ..... , please

Ya, the only range that an AK-47 could be considered accurate, is at less than like 10m, and with a bulleye right on the target lol.

Yes sir! Back on topic, like said, why the hell do tiny potholes damage the tank in BF2, it's so stupid. It annoys me when that happens, also, when u go off small jumps, i guess EA doesn't put in suspension either.

he means the FRENCH tank goes VERY fast in reverse for when they are RETREATING.

              it was a joke.

No, Imagine tank running around everywhere as fast as Vods. It's dice;s way of keeping balancing. However losing health for going or bumpy roads or hitting a car is rubbish.

this is a GAME. games aren't made to be 100% realistic. if you want real tanks, go join the army.

Well if u join th earmy, u arn't guarenteed to get a tank y'know. If u don't qualify for a tankers job, then u don't have that option.

Re: compare this tank with the tank in bf2

Yep... it's a game. However the question was asked and I will respond with what I see.

1: I see that the video also shows a vehicle that is wheeled and not tracked (In portions of the film (At the 25 second mark) again at the 1 minute mark while jumping.

2: I see a tank that wants to enter some ricer drifting contest.

But you want realism so I will tell you what you are asking for that is in the video that you dant have in the game:

1: 3-4 man crew to use it on the battlefield (Do you really want to do that? Some do... but look at all the posts how dumb a** pilots kill their co-pilot because they dont like them.

2: the crew performing Track tension maintenance after doing all the skidding.

3: You dont seen thrown tracks which can take hours to repair and need more than a wrench and one man to fix it.

                      posted by Aeonblue11:
they never have tanks moving that fast in combat situations. the driver has to poke his head out so he can see better, and that leaves him exposed. they only go max speed when they are just traveling.
Not necessarily true. speed used depends on a few factors: Terrain, cover, and possibly some mission critical events (Time lines, etc) The driver doesnt need to open the hatch to be a good driver at max speeds. You are right in the fact that he can see better but it is not necessary.

Bottom line to the 1st question: As been said. It is a game. I could add details to what we could use for realism, for the tanks used, that would destroy all the fun of what it was designed to be.

Given limitations of game -vs- realism. i would have expected more people would have discovered the limitations of what they have and adapt them to their style of game play as oposed to constantly whining about it.

While I can not prove this, I would bet most people who bring up "wanted increased realism" have no clue what the real thing is. Just glorified movie clips, movies and images. One example (And the last one I will use for sake of not prolonging my post) is the video of the M1 tank jumping a ramp. That is great.... that is cool... that doesnt show the vehicle breaking all but two of it's torsions bars upon landing.... as 70 tons does not land gently. But it is realistic.
