Um, the tank in the video is the French Leclerc, but close enough. THe Abrams can go 42 MPH in RL cause of it's 1500hp gas turbine engine. In otherwards saying, if it was ingame like that, it would cap all the flags before the infantary could even get to the closest flag lol.

Dice made the jets more realistic than they should be (not enough if you comparing with real life), and you already have the whiners.

omg wtf is wrong with u people? who ever said anything about ak47 and realistic ****?? i am just saying that in bf2 tanks are too slow, they cant go up really well and they get demaged from going over small holes which is stupid.

they never have tanks moving that fast in combat situations. the driver has to poke his head out so he can see better, and that leaves him exposed. they only go max speed when they are just traveling.

i think Annihilator is right, it just is impossible that a 68.5 metric Tons heavy Tank gets damaged by some f***ing 1/2 Inch hole in the Sandy ground.
And yes, the Tanks are way to slow, but no Tanks do not only go to max Speed when they are traveling, never heard about Move and Shoot?

Even at a Comabt moving Speed of 40mp/h in Mid-Heavy Terrain a M1A2 Abrams can accuire and destroy a Target up to 1.9 miles away......i know its just a Game but when u are driving a Tank u have to look out for Choppers, Infantry, Mines, Planes and other Tanks so why not give the Tanks some advantages beside of a heavy Armored turret?

If it where realistic, you should not be able to shoot someone with an AK aven if he was 10feet away from you, those rifles are extremely inacurate,,

That is the way it should be. Tanks should be a little bit faster. They also should not take any damage while going bumpy roads. They should also take more damage from an antitank rocket.

THe AK, accurate LOL. I don't know in what universe we could call the AK47. They can shoot more than 10 meters, but i mean, if ur talking accurate, teh benchmark for accuracy is known as the M16. THe Ak47 isn't nearly as accurate as a M16. Now just compare the AK-47 to even better weapons, like the G36, the AK47 isn't known for accuracy AT ALL. It's known for reliabilty, u can run over it with a truck, drench it underwater, and bury the thing and dig it up the next day and it'll fire. It won't fire very accurately, but it won't have any damn jamming probs like the M16 would.

Ya, the tanker should be able to use the handbrake to make a nice skid turn (like u see police officers do) and then u can drive a tank in style. :guns:
