When I say awards I'm talking about ribbons, badges and crap.

Some of my problems are the Aviator Badge. I have more then enough kills for the Veteran Badge but not enough hours.. How's that for whack. Got plenty of kills but not the 100 hours.

And the People's Medallion come on!! The Chinese weapons are crap compared to the USMC. The MEC weapons are just the same. Crap! Maybe if you gave those two contries some cool gear we could be happy. Perhaps they should replace China with Japan.

At least they have a cool type of F-16 made by that car company that makes the lancer.

Also how much time will it take to get my last ribbon? The War College one? Whack of whacks is that! Sure wish they tone down what you need for this crap..

japan? lmao. ever since the WWII, japan can only defend for themselves. The Question, what's ur in-game name? i'd like to look up ur stats. cuz you've always claimed to be a good pilot, but i've read plenty of your posts stating incorrect comments about piloting and stuff.

if u do fly, u should know J10 is invincible in the game, even if a noob is flying it. how do u not like to be on PLA since u are a pilot? why would u like to have F16 when our dear DICE has given J10 such a dominating ability of killing everything in sight? another thing is, u dont need any global aviator kills for the aviator badges. all u need is enough global hours and IAR kills.

Oh uh...the self-defend forces is just for a name. The real fact is shown otherwise. Japan by far has the largest military budget in Asia. Her navy is the most powerful in it's region. It has superior technology and quality wise. Her airforce is not far behind. They are F1, F2 (F16 on teroid for anti-ship mission), F4 Phantom (about to retired), and F15J. Her ground force has T-90 MBT. It has similiar look of German Leopard 2A MBT. Actually, I think it uses the same 120mm cannon from Leo 2A. They have type 89 assault rifle. For special force, they use UZI looking gun (don't remember the name.) I wouldn't mind if DICE would add Japan force on the next release.

im not denying the size of their military force. yes they have been developing their military technologies during all these years. probably now they have one of the biggest and one of the most advanced military forces in asia. what i was saying is they cannot be an offensive force in a war, can they?

Their constitution prohibits them on offensive front. However, that might be changed soon. They are currently working on it by adding some clauses. If you didn't know, Japanese force currently deploys in Iraq. It is significant, because it's the first time for them to operate on foreign soil since WWII.

Now, I don't want this to be some besserwisser-thread, but the F-15/F-16 is pretty much outdated by todays standards. The airforce (fighters) is not far behind "today", but will be in only a couple of years.

Though China is a better choice, because they're still are a dictature. :P

Depend who you against with. Most nations US has war with are using obsolete aircrafts. What is important are the contents insight the crafts. F15/F16 is still good enough to win the war in Iraq. Enough said, F22 is way out the league of the world. The best of European Union came out like Typhoon Euro2000 is still behind in term of technology compared to JSF, and F22. What I like to see in the game are addition new aircrafts like Euro2000, and Rafale from France.

I know a good feature for the Rafale, after being in the air 1 min it auto ejects you because its made for french pilots :P jk

I think you're forgetting the JAS-39 Gripen (worlds most technologically advanced fighter atm) here ;]] Even though I'm a true F-22 fan, I believe who wins the fight should be unsaid for now. They all have their goods and bads, but they have all one thing in common. They beat the heck out of F-16/F-15's. And that was my point with the other post ^^

JAS-39 Gripen is a light fighter. It is not the same class with F-15 or even F-16. So, I will compare it with F-16. JAS-39 has under power jet engine. It's engine is imported from US, and it is a commercial engine. It doesn't have the radious range like F-16. Another words, it is a point defend fighter. However, it's radar system is state of the art. It has datalink capability that will help to deter victor in the air. The same thing can be said about F-16 with the latest model. Basicly, every late model of the West has this feature. Anyway, I will agree with you that JAS-39 come out a winner assuming that pilots qualification are the same and it has a chance to dogfight with F-15. It wins simply because JAS-39 is small and agile. In the modern combat, BVR (Beyond Visual of Range) capability will be the main stage. It all comes down to are the best Radar and the advange missiles. The reason US will eventually replace F-16 is because we have better airplane in the pine line aka JSF. The F-22 is in operation in the small number now. So, europe will have a decade to catch up the high end of technology on this plane.

* IAR: 45 Commander Points (before 2x)

About Weps, I believe China weapons suck. Except for Ak's and perhaps their spec ops gun. USMC in the middle, good Assault gun, spec ops, support.

:) Okay, agree. Like I told you Japan is retired it F1, and F4 fleets; so, it can direct it's budget to buy either JSF or F-22 (if US ever export this one.)

Combat kills means doing it on foot. (not in a tank)

Why not Tanks awards for taking outher 15 tanks IAR?? or 5 tanks in a streak.
Jets: take down 10 jets*
Jets: hit 15 ground targets with rockets*
Jets: bomb 20 targets*

You get the drift. Would make people tropper whorers in tanks (well maybe)
