I find Karkand horribly boring, because it's usually 28 or 60 noobtubing bunnies with no sense of coordination against two tanks and two APCs.
It's fun when you have a great commander and a squad that works together, but seriously, how often does that happen?
Answer: Not alot.

However, why the hell should EA take the map out just because you or I don't enjoy it? There's enough players who like it, don't see why it should be taken from them.

Ii was looking at the TOP TEN people by points all of them basically play only STRIKE AT KARKLAND, granted this is a great map but with the tanks and APC's running around make this a points fest for TANK's and APC Ho's. Who are just there to get as much points as possible. This map should be deleted or TANKS and APC's taking out of the map to make it fair for all players on this map.

Someone needs to do a single/co-op player mod called Strike at "KirkLand".
It's you (and/or your buddies) against endless hordes of Bill Shatners bots.
Mout the Hummers with BH Mini-guns and make sure there's a blood 'n gore patch.

Players who just chase the #1 spot must be really, really boring. They just play 1 map, 1 kit & have 1 or 2 tactics they have learnt for points & repeat it over & over, hour on hour. Just to build up high points. Put them in a different situation & they wouldn't have a clue how to play. I'm not in the least jealous of them, they have less "all-round" skill than a 'bot.

Suggestion: Stop worrying about what other people are doing and focus on having fun.

let them play Karkand all they want. i personally hate that map because of the dust/fog. i like being able to see my targets clearly from a longer distance than 20 feet.

i play (nearly all the time) Gulf of Oman for the greater visibility and the opportunity to get lots of points through the use of jets. does that make me a jet whore?

if you know how to work the system, you can make any map a "stat whore map." if you're good at attack chopper, Sharqi's great, for example.

Did you just say get rid of Karkand? HELL NO DON'T! If the APC and tank whores really bother you learn how to stop them, make yourself better. Don't complain! Be Spec Op or a Anti Tank and fight aggainst them.

Keep in mind I am trying to be nice here and really holding back. I understand that this is your opinion but lets just say that it won't be a very popular opinion around BF2 fans. Probably better to keep those comments to yourself.

I will however say that Karkand does bring out all the wierdos and I have the most problems with smack tards and campers on that map but whatever I am over it and I hunt them ! So basically get used to it or stop playing! Its war damn it!
