yeah 1024 by 768 is higher and so non blurrier resolution compared to 800 by 600.

1024x768 = blurry for me
800x600 = sharp for me
15" monitor
So besides the text, what else does the resolution change in the game? Do you have a better view? Whats the diff besides the text.Comment

Well thats strange, I guess thats because your monitor is 15 inch. The higher resolution...people say things get smaller, the text definitaly does, but basicallly things just look better..for most of us..on higher resolutions...Comment

Is your monitor CRT or Flat? Maybe it's the scaling doing it if you have a flat screen. Or is your CRT monitor really old so it cant draw the picture well in 1024x ? Then again you seay it's only the text...
I had a similar problem in counter strike when i switched from OpenGL to DX drivers. With OpenGL (if i remember right ) the text got smoothed just like the other textures :O. But that can't be in BF2Comment
