      Re: Monthly Fees

I play WoW for the time being and I think its a acceptable fee. Try managing the logistics of a MMO server farm with just retail sales...not gonna happen.

As for PC Gaming, its not going away. WoW alone grabbed 5 million people - PC gaming dying there? Granting, the trend doesnt look that good, but I dont see BF2 servers dropping, let alone CS (thanks to CPL and its major investment).

Why does it matter in the slightest if the servers are dropping the people have already brought the game that is what the compnay care about, of course EA should care about the ranked servers as they are ripping it out of them but for some reason they really are just **** and incompetent so everybody is leaving meaning the servers won't be full and less money for them, if they were clever they would fix the problems and realese a map every month or so to keep interest and to keep people paying for ranked servers because as soon as the big mods come out the amount of ranked servers will drop because the mods are far better.

          Re: Monthly Fees

lol , i am one of those BF2 players who switched to console gaming

Why ? i hate upgrading hardware, 7800 GTX is almost the same price as a 360 !

i have a job and dont have good income to support pc hardware

i can support games / fees for xbox live, its only 60 euro a year, its nothing when you look what you getting back

          1 one hell of a console !

          2 nice buddy system

          3 almost no lag

          4 alot of fun

My games are gonna be PGR 3 + BF2 MC 360 + Splinter cell 4

PC gaming wont go away, but it will drop sales and intrest

i sticked to PC because of the great online gameplay

but now i see that 360 has a nice online service

          i switch ASAP

can you believe that i never have to go to options > display > and set settings on med / low !

i just put the console on and i am 20 sec. away from the battle !
