UBAR made a mistake and put in 5 instead of 50 hours, so thats why they are getting it, since they passed the 50 hours.

Right now he has 49:37:15 as the Spetsnaz, so when he passes 50 hours, we will see if he gets the Spetsnaz Service Ribbon.

I was looking at that last night, and the weird thing is the ribbon was never placed in the "Ribbons" section. At the top of his stats it said "SAS Service Ribbon 01-02." But it never made it into the "Ribbons" section.

EDIT: I took this screenshot today (01-03) of veng3nce^'s awards page. See how he has been awarded the SAS Service Ribbon, yet it is not in the Ribbons Section?

Guys, it's 90 hours of total playtime on that army's maps.
Let's look at the stats of the guy ShadowWarrior18D linked as an example:
[BD]AC has played Leviathan for 52 hours, Iron Gator for 71 hours, and Devil's Perch for 43 hours. Combined, that's about 166 hours on those maps, that's well passed 90 hours so he has the Seals Ribbon. For the SAS, he has played Ghost Town for 35 hours, Warlord for 31 hours, and Night Flight for 38 hours. Combined, that's 104 hours total on those maps, so he has the SAS Ribbon. For Spetz, he played Mass Destruction for 39 hours, Ghost Town for 35 hours, and Surge for 34 hours. Combined, that's 108 hours, again over 90 hours so he has the Spetznas Ribbon. Finally, for MECSF, same exact thing as in the SEALS, because he has played over 90 hours combined on the MECSF maps. Do you guys get it now? He doesn't have the Rebels Ribbon sonce he only has 73 hours of playtime on Rebel maps, and he doesn't have the Insurgent Ribbon since he only has 69 hours of total playtime on Insurgent maps.

Oh and by the way, I have no idea what's going on with the ribbons not showing up on the actual awards page in BFHQ.

OK, I just checked out [BD]AC stats on BFHQ. I think you are right Xicer, because everyone I've seen with these ribbons has met your requirements.

But here's what I found out with regards to the ribbons not showing up on the actual BFHQ page. Here is [BD]AC's page:

Now, he has the Spetsnaz, SEALS, SAS, and MECSF Ribbons. Only the SEALS and MECSF are showing up, which he earned in mid-December. So either a) the awards server is incredibly slow updating these ribbons or b) there is a bug in the SAS and Spetsnaz Ribbons code which makes them not show up. b sounds more reasonable, so I'm think b.

Actually, I would have to go with a, if you look at his stats he had also recently gotten the helo specialist ribbon but that isn't showing up in the ribbons area either. So the awards server probably IS going slowly, there certainly can't be a bug in the helo specialist ribbon too since it shows up in other people's BFHQ.

Ah, I didn't notice that, good find. So I guess there is no bug in them then.

Other ppl have had this problem, I think its because BFHQ will only display so many ribbons, and after you earn any more they wont show in your stats. Check BF2s, it shows that I have it :)

That's retarded. This needs to be fixed, I want to be able to see the damn ribbons when I finally earn them. And why would they add more ribbons when they knew that they would not be displayed?

EA/Dice is not perfert guys, it's not like they are going to make some super awesome game that everyone will love so much. They are working on things and those things are called patches, but we just need to give them time. Out of the many things on EA/Dice agenda, I don't think making sure you can see your ribbons is at the top of the list.

Nobody ever said they were perfect. LOL, they are anything but perfect.

As for the ribbons, I still think it's stupid to add a bunch of ribbons, but only have some of them displayed in your stats. Maybe they should test stuff like this out BEFORE it's released... And plus, it can't be that hard for a team of professional programmers to insert an image into a frame.

i found this out a while ago - bfhq will only show you a total of 20 ribbons between the two games. Noticed it when i got the armoured ribbon in sf and it didnt show up. One fix for the new patch hopefully
