i remember reading some where that it was required to have 5 hrs of playing time but i think that time is in accurate i also heard you had to play all maps that included the sas im not sure on that , then i read post were people were wondering themselves how to get them and they said you actually need about 30 hrs of play time before its awarded so try that if you are trying to get the ribbon?

I haven't got mine yet at 48 hours, so I'm looking at 50 hours although I know one guy who had it before then.

I get the feeling it might be # of wins and not hours. Maybe 250 wins on that army and you get it. So far that seems to check out with the couple people I have seen with the award.

250 wins ? this is freaking more then to get a medal in vanilla bf2

maybe it's a combination, 50 hours (instead of 5 hours) and like 100 wins or something like that

The only thing I am confident of - is that it is a total crock of sh!t that they do not release the exact numbers on what this stuff should be - like in BFHQ.

I know they change them - we saw that on the first patch in vBF2. I just think we should have a way of knowing what the hell we are working towards.

This is one of the biggest SNAFU's of the game IMHO.

I was looking at that last night, and the weird thing is the ribbon was never placed in the "Ribbons" section. At the top of his stats it said "SAS Service Ribbon 01-02." But it never made it into the "Ribbons" section.

EDIT: I took this screenshot today (01-03) of veng3nce^'s awards page. See how he has been awarded the SAS Service Ribbon, yet it is not in the Ribbons Section?

Ya dude it's been over a day since he got that ribbon, it should have been there by now. I'm starting to believe the 90 hours in a theater theory. In BFHQ is says the requirements are "Played All SAS Maps" and "Time in Service." I still have no clue why it is not in veng3nce's awards page though.

UBAR made a mistake and put in 5 instead of 50 hours, so thats why they are getting it, since they passed the 50 hours.
