Hey, i think I found something and I'm just going to post what I posted from another forum.

I think I figured it out. I was going to post my pictures once they appeared, but I never could get it to appear. I turned on all the settings up to high and 6x anti aliasing. Nothing, clean clear picture, but I only get the problem in BF2 SF.

I never had that texture problem in BF2 core. So I think, if you make video setting changes in BF2-SF, then that is when you get problems. Or at least I do.

I made all my video changes in BF2 core and played one map for about 20 seconds. Then closed that game down and went to SF. Same map I've been having trouble with Warlord and it worked like a charm. No texture corruption or funny colors for about 2 minutes of playing. I usually get texture corruption in about 5 seconds.

I have the same problem with flickering. I have contacted EA on this issue and I have 4+ pages of tech support.

Sadly the problem is caused by the 1.12 patch. (and up). All we can do now is just hope ea has mercy and fixes the problem.

Bro I tell you, I have tried EVERYTHING. Its a game error.

I have the same problem on my new x1900xt... It drives me mad. £300 card and it looks worse than my 9800pro.

Has anyone found a fix for this yet?? I have tried every combination I can possibly imagine to no avail.

Any help fixing this would be greatly appreciated!

I have the same problem with flickering. I have contacted EA on this issue and I have 4+ pages of tech support.

allright thnx matey.....maybe im being a wuss but it annoyed me so bad i stopped playing bf and switched to counter strike source and day of defeat source .... it's just a waiting game..... sorry guys

yep so this has a good side to it...... we dont have to worry about our cards being corrupt or broken or anything... bad thing is......it ruins our gaming experience seriously it really annoyes me....

Wait !, I Have not read any of the last posts beacuse im lazy BUT ! If you a angry gamer and you seem to bang you desk alot your cable for your screen might have become lose !

why do people use the omega drivers? i always run ati's catalyst drivers ( 6.3 ATM) and have never had this problem..

I Once had a Ati card it was really good.. Top of the range i got it for free beacuse my dad could not fit it in his computer

lol i've never banged my desk.....my drive to beat up the EA programmer-nerds gets bigger though.... and no it's not that lol :P we've tried everything shutty :P

I also get identical flickering textures, Do you guys get flickering ground textures,too ? when flying over enemy runway,if i select reverse camera view and head straight up, the runway textures flicker real bad.
