It sure be nice if EA posted something on there site about the server problem and an estimated time of fix but ohhhh I forgot that would make to much sense.

All around the world people are having this problem !!!! NOOOO !!!

My friend just baught this game 2 hours ago ! HE CANT PLAY IT !!!!

Any idea on when it will be back ? (sorry if thats already been mentioned, but i just cant be bothered to read it)

We need to make a mod to drop the option to connect to account server.

EA and Dice were not to smart to make it so that we had to connect to them every time we start the game.

Now every time it does not work It increases my conviction to never buy a new game by EA.

I have had more problems with this game and the F*$^ing login feature than with any other game. All I want to do is kill the enemy.

You would think that BF2 would be patched to allow at least single player play without having to go through the authentication process.

What's the point of authenticating to EA if all I want to do is test out some helo maneuvers on my own?

I look like an @$$,as I just convinced a friend to drop $50 on a copy, and he can't even practice for the first time. Shameful,EA/Dice.Shameful.

^ I've never had ANY problems with logging in on other games. Some hacker stole my CD Key and I got a replacement last night. I logged on again today and thought the same thing had happened again...

You should be able to if you create an offline account.
