    Re: Planetbattlefield forums being shutdown

Seems that someone had to much time on thier hands..... OOps that almost describes me too. Anyway does it make me a traitor because I post at both places? I noticed real quick that the PBF forum is a good place to get flamed. Even at that they do have one or two guys over there that give a care, Which is why I still post there.

After thinking about it, I have been telling people, when they ask dumb questions during game play, to check out the forums for answers. If they ask me for a web address I always give this one and not PBF. Maybe somewhere in the back of my mind I always thought this was a better forum. Easier to get an answer that works here anyway. Thanks for the info guys.....Red

No don't worry, all the passwords are encrypted. Even I don't know your password! :p

Yes, in any proper security setup even the admins can't see passwords; they can only change or disable them.

If the passwords are encrypted with MD5, which is the usual encryption, then if they get hold of the password they can run it thdough an decrypter that will generate the correct password. MD5 has been decryptable for about 5 years now....

Now begs the question; even if you did, what would you do with my account?

I'd say I don't care (and i dont, honestly, i dont) but really, you only make yourself look like more a **** if you do.

Happy new years, you jolly jackasses.
