Oh sh!t! Does this mean that this hacker has the EA BF2 login username/passwords as well? How protected are these from getting stolen from the admins? Because my profile uses the same username/ password. This means he can log into BF2 as me.

signed into the normal gamespy forums yesterday and saw that someone changed my title under my avatar, i was thrilled, so much so i played gt 4.

Yeah well a lot of peoples accounts are in jeopardy since they all use the gamespy account info. I don't particularly think that is too f'n hilarious.
No I'm not foolish/brazen enough to use my BF2 nick in here .....but you may be. Jokes back on you ptegan1984 if that is your account. There's a handful of Paxtons they could pick apart as well.
Sorry if I come off as an ass. I'm just wound a little tight on the matter of security atm.

the hacking of that forum just about sums up the state of bf2 for me, lots of kids or men acting like kids to prove a tedious point, great game though if a few of your mates are on.

I didn't realie that it was the PBF password was the same as the BF2 password !


even so, it seems that someone gained access to an admins login/password which doesn't actually mean access to the mysql table with everyones logins details. I don't know what board software they run but there's a good chance that the users pw is encrypted in the control panel.
