a ratio is a ratio. You could still run your server at 1000/1000 because its still 1/1
No, that's not on the ball.

The reason you can't boost the ticket count has nothing to do with keeping a 1:1 ratio. By default, some game types don't start with a 1:1.

The point is that it would be easier to aquire awards that require you to get a certain number of points in a single round. When you increase the ticket count, the rounds last longer... thus making it easier to aquire those awards.

Yes, we'd like to be able to get awards easier, but the point is that they were set the way they are because they (Dice) felt that the current counts present a well balanced challange.

    It's really a simple concept.

On the flipside, we all know that some of those awards are a little off the deep end. Trying to get your Vet repair badge, for example, can be quite painful in a normal round.

and the agreement says nothing about how long matches are to be played, just that the RATIOS REMAIN THE SAME.

I agree with your opinion on the time thing but i challenge you to dispute that adjusting the tickets and maintaining the ratios is within the EA agreement

does this violate the agreement? no , but it makes it easier " to achieve certain badges " the same thing higher ticket raios do.

sometimes I just want a match to keep going, regardless of points scored or badges earned. I call it, HAVING FUN

Ah yes... I supose that via the letter of the law, one could get away with it.

There's nothing wrong with find unranked servers if ya wanna have longer battles. I do agree that sometimes it's a hoot to have a single round go on and on.

In fact, I wouldn't mind seeing a server that has the ticket reduction set to 0. That way, the only way to win would be to wipe the other side out completely.

At last somone who understands where Im coming from.
I dont care about the badges and awards (nice as they are), they come when they come.

I cannot see why the badge requirments were not set higher in anticipation of higher ticket games (forget the word "ratio" it confuses things).

BUT FOR GODSAKE..... we are being MUGGED here by EA.

We paid for our server, we paid for our software, we want the server full of players, so we cant go unranked, or else it will always be empty.

We need longer continued warfare, some missions take a while to set up and run.

If we were talking about a perfect game that auto balanced fairly by rank so teams were perfectly even then the games would last longer agreed.

But it isnt and never will be, were being flogged for what we can right NOW.

We need EA to understand that server admins are not all cheating stat whores. Check mine you'll see im very average.

Guarantee me a full 64 server 12 hours a day and i would go unranked this quic

No, its all about map size.

I just got my expert assualt on a 12/50 300 ticket server. and I had to whore half my time in an APC to get it. Its wrong. I wanted to get it all on foot. But I didnt think I could. Well, I didnt really want to take the risk of being one kill short by the end. Finding a empty server aint easy after all.

Well, I voted for the second option, for some badges are absolutely insane to get......Expert explosives will prove to be a challenge.
