Haven't downloaded it yet.

I like the idea of bloody trails, say if your down to 2 bars of health.

YEAH! Ever played Deus Ex? I think that game had some of the best blood effects ever (definatly for its time). They weren't ridiculously gory, but there were basically 3 things about it that really stood out.

1) When you shot an enemy, a splatter with a hole in the middle would shoot out either behind or infront of them (forget which) and stay on the ground for a little while. What I liked about that was that it wasn't a huge red cloud of vapor.

2) When someone was really badly injured, there would be a blood trail. It wasn't huge, just a tiny splatter would fall onto the floor every 2 seconds or so.

3) When someone was killed a gaint pool of blood would slowly flow out of their body. The sucky part was that it didn't matter where you fired your last shot. For example, you could take someone down with a single headshot, but when they died the pool of blood would emerge from their lower torso.

I really dislike how unflexible and unmodible BF2 is clientside. You can't mess with the files without getting noticed by PB. In CSS, you can change EVERYTHING. I use custom models, map textures, sounds, scripts, ect ect.

Isn't CS known for its hacking?

EDIT: And Puglous, no. WIth VAC, cheating has declined immensely. That's probably because if you are caught cheating/hacking, your account is BANNED. All your CD-Keys, BANNED. All that money you spent on those games and decided to get an 'extra advantage', WASTED. Dice should take a page out of their books.

LOL i really cant belive EA never put a blood option in a game like this when i first got the game i was looking about in the options for allow blood lol WTF no blood they should put the option in the next patch ey has anyone tryed Mercenaries Mod its sooooo good i like it because it dosent really change much about the game just gets rid some bad points like it adds blood spray and the weapons are alot more accurate 1 shot kills with sniper and 4 shot kills with any other also nades make a bigger BANG love itttt

Ever heard of puncuation? I honestly cannot understand what you are saying. It's like a stream of unintelligible garbage. Anyway, this mod is nothing special. Looks like all they did was recolor the sweat, smoke or whatever it is that sprays from people to blood.

Anyone from project Reality should definatly take note! Blood is very realistic. Get some wall spray in there and justify the bleeding effect and you could actually use it tactically (blood trails! Woot!).

Blood is already implimented into the Project Reality Mod.

So this mod DONT work on ranked servers?

No. Not on ANY PB server.

This could still be picked up for use in full fledged mods.

All you're doing is forcing game manufacturers to focus on eye candy, then the game itself is generic. Haven't you ever noticed that eye candy gets boring REALLY quickly, and an innovative game with loads of creative flair and thought put into it can become a classic. Look at quake world, people are still playing that nonsense. Why? Because it came first. It defined multiplayer fps.

For gods sake stop worrying about blood that becomes the norm 10 mins after implementing it, and worry about something that would bring endless hours of fun.

I'm still enjoying bf2 to be honest, but I get bored a lot more easily now, and even often go back to Generals or Need for Speed to give myself a break from the repetition and mindlessness of FPS.

A difference of opinion, Juzzy. The majority seem to like blood in the game, including myself. It's little details like that which make it fun. Blood smearing on walls and stuff would be even better, gotta love that- Just gives the firefights some more edge, I guess.

Kinda right about it becoming the norm after 10 mins, but I still think it should be an option to turn blood on. Dust coming off the enemy just seems dull at times?

Blood makes the game fun. Don't like it, go complain elsewhere. I'm not a fan of chunks and genitals flying all over the place, a mere blood spatter, blood trails, all these even though they might become boring later for some people, would make the game better.

This game should have had blood, along with a feature to turn it off.
