The Blood patch isn't gory, there is no blood spatter against walls. A good gun to test it with is the support gun. It is reversable, and compatable with 1.12.

Just tested it on a Pb, no I didn't get a ban or anything obviously however the server Pb I tried didn't allow unmodified content, this was tested on the last version of Pb btw. Just wasn't alowed to play.

It's too bad, it was a very nice addition and it looked like Dice had put it in themselves. It was just right. Too bad you can only try it in singleplayer or over lan, feel free to try it on single player though.

I reccomend you do try it in single player, its very nice. Then just reverse it when your done by removing objects_blood.zip and replacing your Con file.

I really dislike how unflexible and unmodible BF2 is clientside. You can't mess with the files without getting noticed by PB. In CSS, you can change EVERYTHING. I use custom models, map textures, sounds, scripts, ect ect.

Oh well!

BTW, still would be nice to see what this blood mod looks like. Could you post a screenie or two of it?

From far you can't see the blood at all. It's a shame, I was actually having some fun with it on single player.

Yep, my thoughs exactly, its a pretty good patch, it not like UT where Junks of body parts fly everywhere, it's sort of like a spray. Very nice, I reckon they're should be an option like they did on Sof, where if you want blood have it, if you don't want it don't have it.

It just makes killing a whole lot more fun and thats what I want in Bf2.

You can thank hackers for the content check. Back when BF42 was released you could also change skins on all vehicles, players, and terrain. After the 1.4 patch it wasn't allowed anymore.

This could still be picked up for use in full fledged mods.

Anyone from project Reality should definatly take note! Blood is very realistic. Get some wall spray in there and justify the bleeding effect and you could actually use it tactically (blood trails! Woot!).

LOL i really cant belive EA never put a blood option in a game like this when i first got the game i was looking about in the options for allow blood lol WTF no blood they should put the option in the next patch ey has anyone tryed Mercenaries Mod its sooooo good i like it because it dosent really change much about the game just gets rid some bad points like it adds blood spray and the weapons are alot more accurate 1 shot kills with sniper and 4 shot kills with any other also nades make a bigger BANG love itttt
