I hate the C4 jihadist as much as the next person, but there are times when I think it is a legitimate tactic...and that is when a piece of armor is camping a spawn point. If I am owning the battlefield with a piece of armor I even expect it and it has happened on numerous occaisions. What I dislike is the players that use it as their primary weapon and tactic - all the time. Those players should be kicked from the server, no questions asked.

Why? People shouldn't be allowed to play the game that they payed for, and have as much right to play as you, because they kill you in a way that you don't like? There are loads of tricks to use on the battlefield, they are all valid. It is firstly a game, and secondly a game where the main objective is to kill as many people as you can, I don't see why any technique that works should result in people being removed from the game, with the exception of spawn raping which is unfair as it can prevent people from joining the fight if they are killed instantly.

Historically Kamikazie was a real battle tactic, Mainly used by the Jappanese in WWII, Just in case anyone here failed middle school History

but anyway, i dont think its that big of a deal, so what its not like you wouldnt be killed eventually anyway.

i for one dont have any problem with it. not only is it funny as hell when the armor whore whos 52-3 on ur local karkand map starts to whine and moan, spamming NOOB over and again after u take him out, it also adds some reality to the game when MEC players do it. dont know why ud question the legitimacy of the tactic though. it doesnt violate any ROE and many people enjoy it.

Wow this is a six month old thread you dug up.

But I would say yes. If a tank or apc is just tearing up infantry and camping a flag. Your team has no tanks and the AT guys just can't get them, a Kamakazi run with C-4 is a legit tactic. I is certainly not an exploit as you will normally loose two for the suicide and gain no points.

Totally Legit!

Lots of time in the middle of the night when my servers go down, I get bored and not quite ready for bed so I'll start getting into heli's now (since everytime they are empty!) and strap C4 up on them and jihad right into the tanks or jeeps. It's fun, it's legit, and its worth it every time!

i will only kamakazi if its the end of round in like 2 seconds and theres is enemy in front of me
or when my jet is on red health and its losing health and im gonna die either way, then i kamakazi

although i dont use this tactic (accidents do happen)
i dont mind if an enemy does it on kubra, say where having a dog fight and the intake gets taken over so he has no chance to re-arm then yeah its a good tactic no ammo no chance of re-arm so crash and kill someone
but other than that its just a waste

well if i have no ammo on my jet i just fly around and get my jet time up so i can get my ariel service badge.....or....
just be a sniper, land someone and sniper and when alot of enemy's are coming for you get in your jet, fly away and weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

For the most part I'd say suicide ramming is the domain of the untalented.

Or the bored. I mean come one we've all had a giggle at least once or twice because you caved into the urge to go Jihad Jeeping. It's funny and it does help the team once in awhile.

It's annoying, but it's legit.

I absolutely despise Kami-planes, but Kami-buggies/cars are usually OK. Kami-Commando is perfectly legit if there is nowhere to go after attaching some C4 to a vehicle (in fact, he/she should be applauded for managing to get close enough in the first place).
